I received a chat ban recently and the logs shown didn't show much profanity and little to no flame. I was in a game with my friends and was very exited so I used caps lock almost the whole game. I decided to do a test so the next game I used caps for everything I said. And what do you know a 24 game chat ban. What do you think they should do? I should be able to use caps.

Cellyhard85131 votesNo, I wasn't attempting to troll or flame or anything. I was simply using caps all the time. For example, "NO SUMS TOP, COULD I GET A GANK PLEASE, LETS BARON." those are some thing I said in game, I didn't even receive a chat log showing me what I said that was in violation of the summoners code.

If you don't get a reform card upon logging into the client (while the restriction persists), the punishment was administered manually after a review by Riot. You can submit a Support Ticket to get more information about the restriction.

That means very little. Confronting someone that is being a problem frequently results in them escalating their behavior to spite the person, so it's actually a good idea to just mute and report them without causing a scene. If you were not reported, the match would not have gone into a case against you.
However, you still don't know if that/those matche/s were why you got punished. Submit the ticket and await a response to clarify what this was for, then we can discuss it further.

I'm pretty sure using caps alone won't get you punished.
