Seeking RIOTER's opinions on whether this discussion is fair or not..

I encountered a player in a game with a friend who reported me for flaming.. which whatever..I said one bad word to her. give the chat restriction. But what i don't understand is how she can threaten to write an email to a riot friend of hers to try to get my account banned. She even threatened me in game... saying she was going to write an email to get me banned. Check that chat logs of my most recent report.

So after I report her and she reports me, I get chat restriction but then it gets better! She messages my friend telling him that she can email her friend to disregard the penalty.. What the heck? I have the screen shots and summoner name to prove the conversation tru, but I wanted to hear from a riot employee if this is fair for her or her riot friend to do.. Its already hard enough to give beneficial advice without getting reported for flame... sooooo tell me what is there to do about this situation.? I feel like this riot friend of hers can apparently be manipulated.

Thoughts?

she didnt tell me.. she told someone else And frankly I want her to face consequences for making the threat and flaming all game. its not fair. She could be blowing him.. js girl on league can influence a guy on riot team

I agree with you there but i got chat restricted and after my friend was messaging her advocated for her to not punish me she messaged him back clear as day saying she can have it removed and that she has done it before. In game she was totally rude and flaming me the ENTIRE GAME. she received no penalties.

I wouldn't read to much into it. Everyone can say "my dad works at rito games and can perma-ban you".

Not a bro. thanks. but I don't think thats the case. and i repeat, this person wasnt messaging me... she was messaging the person who invited me. Why do i get a chat restriction for asking her to type less and play more when she died while typing... and she gets nothing? its bullshit. so my chat restriction was revoked.. does that make her "just messing with me"?

Honestly not a bait thread. I guess I just don't understand the league justice system. I think its right that a bad word automatically flags me for chat restriction, when i said hardly anything all game, but the person who flamed and complained for the entirety of the match leaves unscathed. After she THREATENED to get my account banned.

I suppose it was poorly worded. "Suppose it gets revoked" would have been a more appropriate preface.

I simply want to know if these threats of getting my account banned and the messages about asking a riot friend to revoke is grounds for any type of consequence.. Talking in league is a crime.. If one bad word (with the option of language filter) automatically flags me, its a bit bogus.

I think she's yanking your chain I've never heard of Riot friends overriding the punishment system just because their friend said so. Pretty sure that would be conflict of interest and not acceptable.

She is lying to you, if he/she actually had friends at riot games she would have heard that you should report with the automated system. She is simply lying and hopes to get some shit out of your ban.
