I was just in this Blind pick match as I am only level 7 and experienced one of if not the most horrific toxic players. I will admit I did in the first 5minutes say things such as "wtf are you doing" and "PAY ATTENTION or get off" and uninstall. but after about 6 minutes I stopped talking for it got to frustrating. but this player was beyond just basic report. his name was <removed by moderation>. he has been penalized but I feel a basic ban would not fit this person as what he had done was beyond regular toxic players. He began with calling me harsh names and continued to tell me that i am trash told me that i played poorly because "my mother died when i was 10" which one isn't true but if this was someone whos mother actually did die this would be a lot worse and at the end of the match he told me to kill myself. this is something that touches home to me because of past events i suffered and went through and this truly hurt me and i know this is just a game and people will always be like this but i feel this crossed the line for me. I told him i will report him and that i will get the last laugh because of how poorly he was acting and claimed he will just make another account which is why i am here. i believe this player should not be able to make a new account or play league at all which i know may be near impossible or very difficult but if i could report this player constantly to keep him off this game i would. i do not know who to contact for matters such as this hence why i am coming here. i enjoy playing this game and do believe he should and other players just like him should not be allowed to play this game.

You're correct. It is virtually impossible, without investing many man hours per person you want to apply this restriction to, to enforce this sort of "person ban". In today's day and age, there is no (legal) reliable way to ensure players cannot make new accounts.

The best thing to do is report them at the end-game screen, which will cause their account to be punished if their behavior warrants it. There is no form of "super report" that causes increased chance of or escalated severity of punishment to an account - all reports are treated equal.

I feel for ya man. Hope your future games are filled with less toxics, but usually down in the low levels it's either bad players who think they are above everyone else, or people so toxic they had to make a new account cause their main got banned. Here's some advice:

  • Find friends to play with, and mute the enemy team if they act like jerks.
  • If you're playing by yourself, just instantly mute anyone acting like a jackass. It's better to just ignore, mute, and report them at the end game screen. Good luck in future games! [slayer-pantheon-thumbs]

As you described it it seems like your own behaviour pissed off the guy. I'm not saying what he said is acceptable, but there is a mute function. Right now you're just coming across as a spiteful hypocrite.
