This is stupid to be honest. I just had a game where it was certain that we were going to lose. The enemy almost destroyed all of our turrets, had more kills than us, slain Baron and Elder dragon, destroyed our inhibitor...etc and we only managed to destroy only 1 turret. We were so behind. Like.. 5-6 levels behind.

We couldn't surrender just because of 2 people? Wtf? 2 people is more important than 3??? What a joke.

Oh yeah... Let me and my friend hold other 3 people hostage by voting no. I just love it watching 3 people on our team die inside as they get destroyed slowly and slowly.

See how stupid that sounds?? What the hell makes you think that we would be motivated on a losing game? How can we make an outplay if the enemy Quinn just comes at us with like the speed of an air jet that can't be outrun and one shot all of us? And how is it good for these 2 people laughing as they watch us 3 die inside?

The victims cant go afk or quit or else they would get punished but the troller? I don't know about that because in the game I played, no one of us talked so it was like a murder mystery, trying to figure out who the hell the troll is. In the end, the trolls went free while the victims got 10-20 minutes of their life time wasted and tilted and die inside?

Please riot.. allow us 3 people to surrender and leave those 2 alone. It's not worth it ruining 3 people's fun for the joy of 2 people.

Btw some of you guys probably have the ability to outplay or comebacks but not us. The point of this thread is to convince Riot to make their surrender system more fairer.

5 people on our team. 3 want surrender and 2 want to go on. 3 people should not be subjected to torment by 2 people.

You all signed up to play a full game of League. Surrender is an exception to that rule, is not guaranteed, and you are not entitled to it.

If you can't agree to play a full game of League, until the end, win or lose, thick or thin, good times or bad times, then don't queue up for a game.

It would be nice if they made non-votes count as Yes. Its pretty silly that you can be stuck in a game because someone is AFK.

Let me present a very simple counter argument. As you are so focused on the two people voting no and not the 3 voting yes.

What if a trio goes around playing games, pushing what is a snowball into a certain win. Enemy doesn't surrender. Now, just to fuck with the other two (whether duo'd or not) they start a surrender vote and FORCE a surrender on the other two in a most likely won game. How is it fair to the 2 to be forcefully given a loss when it was blatantly winnable/winning?

I thought voting systems are supposed to win if you have more votes to yes than no. Feels so bad having 3 people hostage because of 2 people.

Just a few moments before game ended, guy actually got tired and left. Didn't care about punishments. That shows how bad this troll is

Riots sentiment is this (based on how the surrender system works):

You must have at least two-thirds of the active players on the team want to forfeit, before the forfeit is allowed. Their goal is to get people to complete games, not just forfeit at the first sign of trouble. That is even more evident by the fact that with the early surrender it must be unanimous.

FINE I GET IT. This is a perfectly acceptable behavior. I guess I'll just put up with it. Surrender is bad because games are winnable even in a bad situation and you aren't wrong. I have won a game in a bad situation, a few times.

Still... somewhere out there, there are people with a friend who hold 3 people hostage intentionally just for fun and still not try to win. I would not like to be put into a situation like that ever again.

Yeah they should do that. We also need sth like filter bansystem. We don't need the same inting person in our games. And bans should be more strict like a bullet. That would actually help ppl improving ingame.

Surrender system should scale down the required votes with time. after 30 or 35 minutes it should only take 3 votes.

Downvotes? I don't understand you guys how 2 people holding 3 people hostage is fine. Comebacks and outplays can't just happen every single time. We had a Quinn in the enemy team that could kill us in just 1-3 shots and nobody could touch her because she has her team that act like her body guards who is also very strong

Anyway.. I don't know about you guys but 3 people (victims) is more important than 2 trollers IMO
