Banned for 14 days. Been playing since 2010.

You banned me for chat problems. If I'm so bad in the chat, refund me the money I've spent in this game, and I'll go away.

When I started this game I had no idea what I was in store for. There is absolutely nothing that will prepare you for the troll that is LOL. You have managed to produce the game with the most toxic community I have ever seen. I don't care what they say. I care about what they actually do in the game. You know, people's actual actions.

I get matched constantly with people on my ignore list, that you as a company feel should just magically take these people off. I report feeders, get matched with them the next game. Then when I log off and back on, you think it's funny to match me with them again. But yes, definitely, please ban me for my mouth. Because potty words are way more important than actually trying to win your game. Keep the feeders and trolls. But please make sure you ban adults that use adult language. Nice touch telling us that a profanity filter isn't an excuse to swear.

Wait I have to bring this up quick before I actually go since you keep telling people to read your thread and keep bringing up your ignore function complaint.

Your words: "I don't care what they say. I care about what they actually do in the game. You know, people's actual actions." Than why are you complaining about the ignore function not working if you don't care what they say?

Not how it works. You spent money volunteerily on the game. You broke their rules and were banned.

No different than if you went to a store and purchased stuff there but next time you showed up you acted so bad they permenently kicked you out of the place, they aren't giving you your money back from what you bought.

Even if you no longer access to your things you bought, they are unrelated to the fact you were bad enough to get banned. The rest of what you said I didn't even bother reading since you can't blame others for your own actions.

Dude I hate to break it to you, but you have very little knowledge of law or how Terms of Service works. Do you actually think a billion dollar network didn't think of this petty way people would try to sue them. Sorry buddy, you're not that clever. It's ALLLLLL covered in Terms of Service. Riot has a better deal for you. How about , if you be toxic again when you get back, they will take your account, permaban it, not give you ANY money back, and send you on your way. Get it? There's absolutely no winning here and if you try to sue, they will actually bill you for their lawyers when they win with the most simplest Terms of Service copy. Toxicity is your own problem. If you can´t deal with such problem, then by all means leave. Don´t expect your money back though. You spent your money willingly when you bought RP. And according to the ToS, no refunds.

Yes. Unsportsmanlike behavior is punishable, as it should. The feeders aren´t always there to ruin your fun. You know, people do have bad days. And the trolls are being dealt with but seriously...it´s an online game. It´s the internet. Nothing is immune to trolls.

Technically you did sign up to it. As many have mentioned the ToS&C. Maybe read it.

TL;DR: You got into trouble for joining the immensely large toxic community that is League. You got into trouble because you can´t keep your fingers quiet. You got banned for being toxic and now you´re being even more toxic by complaining about it.

A little bit of acceptance never killed anyone.

There are other actions I can take if they don't refund my cash.

I can make it my life's mission to ruin other people's experience with their game. I can make multiple accounts, get them to 30 and ruin the experiences of more of their players. Then post said results on youtube. I'm sure their players would appreciate that. I could then track down the social media accounts of said players and then post the videos to them.

I believe I'm actually being reasonable.

No, there isn't any actions you can do, so stop being stupid. In the ToS it says they can kick you out of their game without reason and all purchases are final(with very rare exceptions)

Before trying to act like another idiot that says they will sue Riot, actually inform yourself to how silly you sound when you have no grounds to stand on.

Also seriously, do what you threaten to do. Look how stupid you will look. Wasting so much time over something so trivial, being so easily ignored, and best part is if you go overboard and it becomes stalking, how quick you will be to get traced and then see who laughs.

Dude... The game is completely, entirely, 100$ free to play. Also, just because you bought stuff in the game does not make you immune to being punished for being a jerk. They do take verbal AND actionable offenses seriously as you can report people for afking or feeding and they do get punished. I have actually physically seen it happen my self and I am very happy they do this. But nothing in this world is perfect and the same goes for Riot Games, they can't always get everyone, at least not right away. But they do eventually get what they deserve. As for claiming you were "forced" to participate in some kind of experiment... Well I am sorry to say this but you are starting to sound a lot like my Ex wife's paranoid schizophrenic father who believed the Gov't was always after him and when ever a white limo drove by it was his "rival gang" and he would cover up all his windows and board up his doors... If there is any kind of experiment Riot Games is doing they are harmless data gathering experiments like finding out what would make the game better or more fluid, etc. They would never intentionally put you in unpleasant situations on purpose, game wouldn't last very long if it did. This is a video game, not a doctors visit, or going to get your car fixed, or even paying monthly for a Netflix account. The "service you are being provided" is not mandatory in any way and since it is a free to play game, well then don't spend money on it, or just don't play it. If you broke the TOS and lost your money, well that's what you get for being toxic. Happy that I won't be playing with you in game but I hope you find something that works for you. The social experiences you have in the game are completely in your control. Don't like someone talking crap to you? Mute them. Keep being harassed in the client? Block them. Still don't like the game experience, then stop playing and find something else to do. Wish you luck.

A quick google brought up the thousands of people that complain that the ignore function doesn't work the way they expect it to work. So no, a quick google doesN't solve my ignorance... you could of course, instead of your non-stop passive aggressivity provided a link, or at least explained what exactly is broken. Oh wait, you did, in your OP... aaaand you pointed out the exact same thing as all those people I just googled: You got mached with people on your ignore list. Which is not a bug.

With your new very very short explanation, I'm assuming you are confusing the ignore list and the mute function, that do afaik not function quite the same way. Mute works only for one game. But since again, you're prioritizing being passive aggressive over actually trying to properly explain the problem, that's just a guess.

If it worked the way you wanted, in higher tiers like Master/Challenger (for the best example) they could just ignore players just so they NEVER play with them on their team and it would completely mess up the queuing system as well if it worked like that. And in such high ranks the player base is REALLY small compared to lower ranks like Bronze up to Gold.

I have. Problem is: This is a online only game. Other games that have a online function that isn't mandatory to play, have little to no control of ONLINE INTERACTIONS BETWEEN PLAYERS.

Expect the thing is that RIOT is trying to do their best to keep the community clean since this is an online only game. But of course there will be players who think that they have total freedom to call people off because of: LOL ITS FREE SPEECH! Which is a problem.

You wanted this discussion and we - the community that has to possibly play with you in game at any given time - have tried over and over to explain this, but you just keep acting like your high and mighty.

When they added that program they updated the TOS, you hit the accept button to play the game. You did sign up for. Deal with it.

Again I agree with you, in principle, so do most of the rational human beings who still operate in reality. That seems like a very basic common serse view of Justice in general.

You might be a toxic little shit, but if you put out.. if you produce, you're tolerated. That's actually how life works.

However, Riot's been very clear that thought crimes against player base will be taken very serious now, since the majority of the player base are in fact trolls, getting rid of people who are making these people feel bad by being toxic is a sound business decision.

I can see you're trying to be reasonable with him but this is not how life works. Any business will gladly remove a customer from their premises if they create an environment that is hostile to their other customers. Typing abusive chat is not a thought crime, it has at that point (by your own will) been released to other people and has the ability to do harm to others.

Well, you're very good at getting to the root of the issue, and that root is a philosophical one. On one and there are those who believe that words don't hurt the same way that physical actions do, and on the other hand there is your view that they do in fact hurt people substantially.

As for the other thing, the 'this is how life works..' comment ...you've obviously never dealt with a software sales department. : )

I'll reply first by letting you know I'm not one of the people who downvoted your comment and by stating I'm a software developer that deals, way more than I want to, with the sales department at my current place of employment.

Unfortunately there is a major difference here. When we perform custom work for our clients then yes they are allowed to be toxic to us and we must bow down to whatever they say. Because we are dependent on their business and our other customers are not aware of our interactions with them because it is a completely private and confidential affair.

In retail businesses, which I would label riot, you create a mass product such that if person A doesn't like it then that's ok because you can still sell it to B, C etc. In such an environment it is better to remove a person (whether they are a customer or not) if they risk you losing business from others in your store.

I agree that I should not have said "any" business, however, for riot and lots of other businesses it is better to remove toxicity.
