I got a two week ban, because I did bad?

Alright, so some backstory. I have been away from league for about three years. I just came back about a month ago. I que up for a normal game as Nid and I do HORRIBLE. Well, like, 2/5. It happens. Anyway, the entire game I'm being flamed by three of my teammates who I assume end up reporting me at the end of the game. I go to log on last night and I have a thirteen day ban because of it.

How is that fair? Do people even read the chatlogs when they ban? I've been taking care of my sick grandmother all by myself and League is my ONLY form of entertainment. But since I was 'toxic' and did bad that one game, I got a thirteen day suspension. How is that fair at all? I don't even think I was that mean. I'm always friendly in chat, but these people we're harassing me so bad that I suppose I wasn't 100% kind to them.

I've seen chatlogs that get people banned, and I hardly think that this is deserving of a thirteen day suspension. :(

I doubt you skipped Chat restrictions before getting a 2 week ban for such a chat log. Sure you are rude a one point or 2, but that shouldn't get you a 2 week ban. So either you are not telling us the whole thing, or Riot legit screwed up. But the latter is highly unlikely.

While I was away, my friend used my account without my knowledge. (Same password as my WoW account. I guess he figured it out.) As soon as I found out, I changed my password and scolded him. So, unless he got a chat restriction I've never had any infractions.

But still that would have been like 2+ months ago.

2+ months ago doesn't reset your punishments. You are responsible for your account. it doesn't matter if your friend was on it and got the chat restrictions.

Account sharing is a ban-worthy offense, even if its ''unintentional..

Make a support ticket and explain you got your account compromised..

I made a support ticket for it. He got two accounts perma banned, I would never let him use my account. I only found out because I started playing again.

I'm waiting on a reply for my support ticket. Thank you for the advice!

Email support.. they can tell you for sure what the iss ue... It may take some persistence and a few emails.. but it will come.

Okay, thank you! I sent them an email about account recovery before I made this thread. I'll be sure to send them another if I don't get a reply anytime soon.

This was your third offense. The 10 and 25 game chat restrictions were also punishments. This was the next step in the punishment escalation process.

I had no knowledge of prior punishments. I guess I know now, so thanks.

I assume there's no way to maybe reduce the punishment? I didn't deserve a 13 day ban because people got mad at me.

I have nothing to do other than to sit around my grandmas and stare at Imgur.

you deserved punishment for the chat logs because you were toxic, the next tier was a 14 day ban, even though you didn't commit the original crimes that got the account 2 punishments before.

you also should have known about the punishments because they would have been e-mailed to you. unless you were using some garbage e-mail account, then that's still your own fault for doing so.

It's mine, all and all. But since my account was compromised I didn't receive any warnings, thus thought the system was being harsh on me.

As Riot Tantram already said, you had 2 chat restrictions during the past 3 months, which offers as a warning more than enough. Apparently, you never took it seriously til it leads to where you're at now.

I mean, other than his two perma banned accounts and the two infractions made on my account. There's nothing else other than text messages. He apparently just got his level 21 account banned too.

I know the date I started to play again only because I was confused as how I was already in a match after not playing for so long. I can show the exact date I came back which is 2/15/16, I kicked him out of a game he was playing.

But yeah, I mean, I do have text messages of him saying "they banned my level 21 cause of two games for two weeks as well" and "I didn't deserve the second perm"

I HIGHLY doubt this was your first offense. I am sure this was your first "ban" but you have 100% had chat restrictions before this. No, this alone was not enough to get you banned, but this, along with several other games, and you previous chat restrictions was more than enough to ban you.

That's the thing though, I've played A LOT of games the past month and literally this is the ONLY game where I was toxic in any sense.

Annoying because you look like you are talking nice to them as if you'd normally let them into the group of nice players that play. Like saying to Hitler "don't worry fellow german! Come play with us!". So good riddance that you're banned. And here is the proof because you say:

i said, fuck off and no shit because they kept calling me bad and blaming me for everything so I said "fuck off" and I said "no shit" as in no shit I'm doing bad.

I told Sona to shut up 'cause I listened to her flame me for 40 minutes and then she proceeded to sell all of her items and start trolling. Granted, I was mean in that instance, it's because they harassed me for 40 minutes and did just as bad as me.

I don't think that warranted a two week ban. I would have muted them if I knew how to mute people.

I understand that I was slightly toxic in that game. The point of this thread is because I thought I got 2 week banned out of seemingly no where. Thanks to a Riot Team Member, I found out during the time my account was compromised it got it's two warnings

Yeah, other ones played while my account was compromised. I literally just found out that my account had previous chat restrictions.

But I got banned for trying a new champ and doing poorly when the Sona that flamed me all game sold all her items and started to troll.

I previously didn't know why I was banned for something so stupid but I now know it wasn't my accounts first offense even though it was my first offense.

you keep blaming other people instead of yourself. you got punished for flaming, not playing poorly on a champion , it doesn't matter who started it.

Oh. Well its not that bad. I got a 2 week ban once and id say it was actually good for me. Im definitely not as toxic as i once was...

Well, I was not under the impression that your account status diminishes every three months. I thought that if I had another night like last night I was just going to get perma banned.

It sounds like I just have to not play for 3 months to be safe.

This will help you: don't say a single bad word as if they didn't exist, and if any of your teammates are saying anything bad don't say anything to them, mute them, be careful and sometimes don't say a single thing in chat especially if you know your teammates aren't happy with you, don't talk about the report system or muting people ever as it can get you punished, if you don't say anything in chat, don't intentionally feed, and don't AFK, you are permanently immune to punishments.

Every 3 months you drop 1 stage in terms of punishments: 10 Game Chat Restriction > 25 Game Chat Restriction > 2 Week Ban > Permanent Ban, you go down by 1 stage every 3 months.

Follow these rules and you will be fine.

This is good information, I appreciate it. Honestly, I think it's because of the account being compromised that put me on the radar.
