Chat restricted for no reason... Still able to get victorious skin and Border?

I Just played a normal Game, where i had a support that got tilted super early, left bot, stole my Buffs ( i was jungle) and also told the enemys in all chat where me and the other teammates were on the map. Also he called everyone in our team noobs while beeing 1-10-2 and only solo bot, no teamplay. i only told him he was griefing and that the enemys should report him for his behaviour. Now i got chat restricted for 9 Games, even tho i consider myself beeing pretty a nice person and also im almost honor lvl 5. can i do anything about this? Thanks in advance!

If you want your seasonal rewards, you better work your ass off to get back into honor2.

If you are unsure of why you are punished, then you can post your chatlogs here and we can help you identify why you got punished.

Asking for reports and broadcasting that you believe someone is breaking the rules are both considered negative by the IFS. Additionally, if you brought it up in chat more than once, you could also be flagged for harassment.

If you think that someone is breaking the rules, you should report them after the game. In this case, them telling the enemy where you were would be considered "assisting the enemy" (the same as inting) and should receive a 14 day ban.

One report does absolutely everything that 9 reports does. So there is no use in broadcasting their misdeeds. No one else needs to report. No additional reports will help them get punished any faster.

Sorry to hear buddy - in future keep in mind only your report is necessary, no need to ask other people to report. Pretty unlikely once someone has started griefing that anything you say to them will change their mind - best to just play it out and report them after. If they're giving away your position potentially ask the other team to mute him, but just once politely and then move on either way.

You should be able to get the border just fine -- usually only punishments after about August count against your ability to get rewards, and the usual method is that you get rewards unless one of these occurred:

You had a recent 14-day ban.
You are chat restricted when the season ends.

That said, since you claim to be restricted for no reason, I would recommend posting your logs so we can help you see WHY you were restricted. In my experience players who don't understand what behavior got them punished tend to appear here again with future punishments, as they don't know what they need to improve.

this is a common missconception

your honor level is no more of an indicative of being a nice person than having Mastery 7 on Zed being an indicative that you play him like Faker. You're not the first honor5 player to get a restriction or a ban.

it's just eye candy to brag about. nothing more
