My account was banned for using 3rd party programs

Request #22197299 is my support ticket if this helps at all.

I'll start by saying that I started playing in december of 2010. I played quite a bit, but eventually got a bit bored and took a break back in 2014 from the game, and only recently came back 1-2 weeks ago to play with some friends. When I initially tried to log in, I couldn't because my password had been changed and realized after checking my email, (that I rarely check unfortunately) that I use for certain games, that I had been hacked. This person had hacked me sometime in March of this year and didn't really play that many games from the time they hacked me to about late april or so. Though I do understand that they might have used some kind of program within that time span.

The thing that confuses me is that when I sent in a ticket a couple of weeks ago to clear that whole thing up after changing my password, they didn't reply to me with any information that my account was under investigation or that anything had happened during the 2~ month span of him occasionally playing on my account. Either way, that isn't why I decided to make this post. I just want some specifics. Why exactly was my account banned?

I realize me saying I didn't do it is basically pointless, but for the record I have never used any 3rd party programs playing this, or any other online game. I have been back for less than 2 weeks playing normal blind picks and drafts, and doing quite poorly in fact... it just seems funny that this would happen with such a delayed action if it was due to the hacker using something. Anyway, if at all possible, please explain to me what happened, and let me know if it is at all possible to recover my account. Thank you.

edit Also thought I would add that I have never received a warning at any point. I was not warned before this ban came, so I couldn't try to defend myself what so ever. According to my email, I have never been warned for anything what so ever in the many years I was playing the game, and I have never been punished for anything up until now.
