I was recently punished by riot games, i got the 5 message limit in game. The hex tech crafting just came out, and after the game it says i cant get chest because of my recent behavior. Do you guys know how long It will be in till i can get the chest ?

also 3 months while playing games is pretty standard for downgrading the punishments

the chat restriction is the punishment for your previous behavior indeed. The hextech is not your punishment, however.
That reward is given to those who earned and deserved it, just like salary is paid to those who worked for it. If you didn't work for it (get S grade) then it isn't yours, and if you're not qualified to work (history of good standing) to begin with then you won't get paid either even if you do the work. Hence, what isn't yours not being given to you is not punishment.
