Reports

This games concept of reporting behaviour is the most incredibly unpleasant part of any game I have ever played in 20 years of gaming. That the report button is right there next to each persons name at the end of the game, and that it is easier to click report rather than honour sums up the entire game. I literally do not go a single game without someone saying "report XXXX for XXXX" and 99 times out of 100 its a nonsense reason. The ONLY thing I ever report is AFKs and the obvious trolls who run down mid going 0-25. There is no excuse to report people for any other behaviour. If someone is saying things you don't want to read, click mute. I really think the report button should be removed from the post lobby screen and be turned from a 'report anyone you feel like' button to a report those who genuinely spoilt 9 peoples game and shouldn't be allowed to do it again button. As it is at the moment its like we are being promoted to be toxic to eachother.

I wont even recommend LoL to friends because of how vile the attitude in game is. It would be embarrassing to me to show others the atmosphere of the game I play. The only way I can enjoy the game is to have music blaring and mute anyone who says anything even slightly negative.

PS- having the S+ grade system have actual rewards is the most toxic thing you could have done. Now even in ranked supports will killsteal (with good reason) and fed players will avoid teamfights to keep their S grade score intact. So many bad decisions taken in this potentially amazing game. Sort it out.

Prepare to be downvoted into oblivion, friend. I agree that if you can't take the heat from someone talking shit, hit mute and move on with your life. The extent of shit talking required to initiate punishment should have to be -extreme-, like telling someone to kill themselves, dropping racial slurs, and non-stop nagging them. Telling someone to stop playing like garbage or to learn basic mechanics before throwing your ranked game is hardly justification for a ban. I think the PC bullshit going on in the world made its way into the online scene too. Unfortunately, you'll find these unranked, bronze, silver 5 players telling you that its just a game and you need to be the bigger person, but they don't play the same scene as a plat+ player, don't play the same queue (ranked), and feign knowledge on topics without hopping off that non existent high horse of theirs. Best of luck.

Its only unpleasant cos not enough people know how the system works.

When you get reported, the system validates the report and if there was nothing toxic found, the report gets thrown out.

The game environment is the most toxic pre-lvl 30 and at Plat5 ELO in ranked games. So you are currently just in the mist of that mess.

Finally, if a fed person is avoiding fights, then they won't get their S grades as "Damage dealt to enemy champions" is part of the calculation to get S. Plus they can only get S grade rewards once per week, and once per champion per season. Its not as abusive as you think.

Of course you are totally correct in your assessment as any sane adult would agree. The thing is, the player behavior team is not run by sane individuals and this particular message board and game is full of safe space Democrats who can't handle the truthfulness of criticism. You don't even have to swear anymore to get banned. Literally dozens of banned chat logs on this forum demonstrate fully that ANYTHING that might be considered negative is perma ban worthy. Literally Anything. This means your account is never safe and you should never spend money on this game. RIOT has breached trust of the community too many times.
