Y'all Need To Fix Match Making, Riot Please Read
I'm gonna try and keep this short, but knowing me I'll probably digress. Y'all need to fix match making. Like a huge part of this game is the teammates that you play with and I'm just confused as to how I can have a terrible game and report someone who made sure it was awful, and then end up going into champion select with that same individual. Like this is a team oriented game, so let's not ignore that. Y'all push the eSports propaganda and merchandise, but yet the focus on the rest of the player community is lacking, or rather, the action.
I suggest there being an option implemented where you can say "I no longer want to play games with this person," and then you won't be matched with them.
Riot, if a player's first thoughts before entering a match is, "I hope nobody tries to ruin my experience," then something is very clearly wrong there. Y'all know, like I know, that your game is good, and it's successful, and y'all will continue to be successful because it's addicting. But why is your game notorious for breeding a bad player base? I know you guys read some of the things that are out there. I know you guys are cracking down on the player report system. But you're not doing enough. I just don't accept it. And it's okay for me not to accept it because in the grand scheme of things- I'm right. Yes, it's up to the players to police themselves accordingly, but why is it that many a times a lot of people just straight up go rogue? You need to come up with ways to heal the damaged parts of your community rather than trying to shut them out, because we both know that they're still going strong and still up in here.
And for anybody who's gonna try and shut me up by saying "Well then stop playing," please be quiet; I'm allowed to criticize their game. If I can report bugs, then I can also report about other aspects in this game. I'm not the only one who feels this way, either.
Riot, you think you're placating those who actually want a positive experience with the report button at the end of the game, or by decreasing the surrender time, but the truth of the matter is, the power is still in the hands of those who want to ruin the gaming experience for others. And you need to put some more power into the hands of those who actually do want a positive gaming experience. And before you bring up "muting," how the hell do I mute someone's intentional feeding? How do I mute someone who comes into a game to intentionally sabotage my chances of winning. How do I mute that from my match history or my promos? That's what I thought.
