Kill yourself <---Not cool

I have played league since early season II and I am really starting to be bothered by how toxic it is now. The thing that has pushed me over the edge is the whole "trend" to tell people to kill themselves or so cleverly abbreviated KYS. I understand that people being horrible humans is not something Riot can stop (or you would be gods), but I know there is a way to lessen it. I really could care less even if this causes me to lose games, but certain things should allow you to get a vote to automatically remove someone from the game. If chat dialog gets the phrase kill yourself or KYS in it I think we should get a pop up for choice to remove the summoner as toxic.

I am sure some of the comments on here will be lovely....The sad truth is a lot of people do kill themselves everyday and yes something as trivial as a game could actually push someone to do it. Likely? no, but possible yes. We are all people and while I am 100% sure I do not like everyone I meet I am 100% that some behaviors should be punished. Also, this is where I was sent when I tried to find a way to get this message to Riot. While I am sure it will be looked over I am also sure that at least I can say I tried. I know I am not the only one who is annoyed with how a great game can be ruined by bad people.

Thank you for your consideration

The player who gifted me the Arclight Vel'Koz killed himself for real. He was about 25, a good game programmer, and one of the nicest people I've ever met. This shit is not just made up, it's very serious.

No one would vote that. If you have an option to play a 4v5 over a 5v5, almost no one will take that, especially in ranked.

Just report them, it is a punishable offense, and if they continue with their behavior, they will get permabanned. Problem solved.

If a summoner in the game is toxic, you have a button to remove that person from YOUR game, at least verbally, yes, we all know what button I'm talking about. After that report them and let the system deal with them.

I don't condone toxicity, but such suggestions are a dangerous slippery slope, also I do stand in the side that says that while such behavior isn't acceptable, people shouldn't have the skin's thickness of a wet noddle, don't let what a random stranger says have such an impact on you. Mute and report them, then move on.

I would much rather scrap out a game (or lose horribly) 4 or even 3v5 if it would allow me to bounce a toxic teammate, who has crossed the line. And I agree KYS is one example of just going to far.

Well, don't bother with these people. Don't answer to their provocations, so they won't get satisfied. Mute + report. They will get what they deserve.

I agree with you on this. Nothing more irritating and insensitive than being told to kill yourself in the first 30 seconds of a match.

Inappropriate song! You can't say such things on the board I don't see why you need to try to sneak it on a 'smile face'!

I was going to try to be nice about this but...No, after listening to the rude song..I don't want to suck anything of yours let alone your D. !

I'm going to capture the song title and link in case someone decided to change the post already made...

How do you even get to say this here on the boards!
