i made a smurf account and i have to say im pretty disappointed with the amount of bots in my low level games all of my 3v3s and aram games have been affected by them with at least one bot (though im on like game ten) is riot content with people botting all these games?
Is Riot content? No, of course not. They regularly to ban waves for these people, they rarely get very far. The thing is, accounts are free and can be and are made in mass amounts to flood matchmaking to try and get a few through to sell; Since bans are done in waves to prevent them from figuring out when and how they are being detected, sometimes a bot may stay up a week after it's found before being banned.
While they don't typically announce changes to their systems for this, that doesn't mean they aren't being proactive in improving it.

They are in fact, content. More accounts means more money. People eventually buy those botted accounts at level 30, play them for a while as smurfs or whatever then spend money on them. Sure they may eventually get "caught" and banned, but then they buy another level 30 botted account and spend money on that. Riot knows about this during the entire bot process from level 1-30, but they have no reason to terminate an account which may provide income.
In short, income > your inconvenience.
Riot does ban waves for bots so you'll often seen those accounts survive for a while but they should eventually get banned. Using the report feature after the game will help them track those accounts.
What's even worse is when no one on your team will admit there are bots on your team. 2 guys barely using spells and turret diving in sync for no reason all game but no ones botting... okay
