How can u expect people to not b toxic after they work so hard to get to promos and lose them due to having team mates that shouldn’t even be allowed to play ranked?

Because Riot expects players to be mature and have the personal responsibility to understand that if they are not climbing, it is because their skill is not of a higher level than those they are matched with.

How did they get those promos though? By having "good" team mates.

Your chances of getting a bad team is as high as getting a good team. The only variable here is you. If you want to climb, you're going to have to work for it. If you lose your promos but you're good enough to deserve the higher rank, you'll get back into those promos quickly enough regardless. Best of luck, man!

I've been playing since like S3-4 and I'm not toxic even when I lost a promos because my supp picked Aerys Ezreal, almost inted and said at min 15 "is ok, we can ff"

Well when you have a highly competitive game like this it's hard to keep your cool especially when the thing that you've been working so hard to get, you just don't and you lose because of factors that are beyond your control. it can definitely feel frustrating at sometimes but you just got to take a step back and take a breather and I know how hard that is when the thing that you wanted so much slips right between your fingertips. You got to understand though your teammates are giving it their all too But nevertheless it's a feeling that you're going to feel. And honestly it's inevitable, hey I'd be mad too if someone prevented me from getting Platinum because they were playing so horribly, it's just human nature. And you are right to feel those feelings of anger those are necessary feelings but just try not to yell at anyone get your account banned.

I just came here to read the comments. I've learned from past threads that these threads facilitate arguments as opposed to productive discussions which actually explore the issue as opposed to attempting to convince each other of varying perspectives.

Why is that a reason to be toxic? You lose a game and feel the need to insult people and act like an asshole? Does that honestly make you feel good when it's over? Or do you pretty much feel the same?

Damn guys, you all crazy, I just asked a question, you don’t need to argue, I see where those arguments come from and what they stand for, but you don’t have to take shots at each other passively lol... Or any kind of shots ofc.

My question is more of a problem with the game, not the community, I hate and I always will hate the matchmaking of this game, mostly because like I said, those people that I get shouldn’t be playing ranked... they can’t even farm, I’m surprised they are not using wasd to move and wondering what’s wrong with the game.... All I’m saying is: matchmaking need to be improved to spare us competitive gamers with no time, from exactly wasting the thing that we don’t have so much of. That’s where my toxicity comes from, because you have to understand that those players, that I often get matched with, don’t even look like they are TRYING their best... They just hopped down on the Rift to check what’s up, die a little, try to surrender at 15, and die some more... Circle of matchmaking life
