So me and my bud were having some fun playing some games when I got permbanned. I admit I was a little bit toxic in the past but that's behind me. I only use banter nowadays. Here's the logs with some context:

All 3 of the games everyone agreed with me except for the one person, first game the fiddle who called us all virgins and blamed and flamed since min 3. Second game the twitch who flamed me for losing lane since min 5, and the third game just Camille for 'blaming' 'everyone else' (Can you see it? I can't, I only blamed her for one single death after she blamed me for the entire fight) Yeah a few of these things aren't really that acceptable, even when I only say them as banter against my friends. But isn't this a little overkill? Some salty flamers getting me permabanned?

You are 100% responsible for the actions YOU decide to take. Several instances of negative attitude and harassment, i didn't even need to read games 2 and 3 to realize it was just gonna be more of the same crap you were spitting in game 1.

So fiddlesticks decides to flame his jgl and me, I decide to take it up for his jgl and I 'harass' him? Litterely everyone in the game agreed with me and reported fiddle and only fiddle reported me. If you think that is 'harassment' you've never actually seen someone flaming

Look dude, i think the grounds for harassment are silly too. But you are playing in RIOTS house, and you need to abide by RIOTS Rules, its simple. You do not fight flame with flame. You just mute and report at end of game... done, simple, ezpz.

Instead you kids get completely triggered and over-emotional when someone flames, or "ints" and you feel the need to open your mouth and let the world know how it makes you feel.

If someone is on the street and you see them getting harassed then cool, help them out. But this doesn't apply in this game, it just promotes more toxicity.

With that answer I can live. I still find it silly that only the victim of the harassment get banned and not ATLEAST both of them. Wouldn't have made it such a problem if the fiddle would be banned right now but he's still playing games :/

First: You are **not **the victim.

Second: You didn't get special treatment. If the other persons flame as regularly as you, they'll get the same. It's not like you get an instant ban the first time you behaved like that - it took consistency on your part. However, you have no idea how consistent the others are. You aren't able to judge his case.

Sorry but that's really stupid. And those guys were regular flamers. You don't randomely start flaming a guy for going like 0/2 or something. The only times in my life I have flamed was to a 0/26 singed who was litterely running it down because he didn't get mid and when a group of 4 kept flaming me constantly when I was having a really bad day. (Which still doesn't excuse it)

If someone flames you, you are the victim. If you start flaming them in response - if you start retaliating - you are no longer the victim. You are just another flamer.

Your analogy doesn't apply in this situation. Look at it like this: Someone starts yelling at you in a restaurant, and you decide to yell back. You're both yelling at each other and irritating the other customers. You both are problem people and get dealt with accordingly.

You're subtracting the wrong things and making up things as well. After a 14-day ban, you're perfectly allowed to say "fuck", just like you're allowed to say "shit", "damn", etc. - and you very clearly did not get punished for saying "fuck".

Your analogy doesn't make any sense. You can mute them and instantly stop the attack. Boom. The netherlands had no such option. If they could've stopped the invasion by just clicking one button and no harm done, they would'Ve done it and not wasted lives. You had that option. They hadn't.

Furthermore, flaming back doesn't decrease the amount of flaming - you are trying to put out a fire by extinguishing it with oil. Flaming back considerably worsens the situation, while muting instantly stops what you were complaining about.

Speak for yourself. It takes a lot (like, really A LOT) of flaming to get to the 14-day ban. IT takes a ton of it. Demanding that you finally just stop flaming (really, that is NOT much to ask....) is perfectly fine imo. If you cannot comply with that, you have other issues than a banned account.

Quite honestly, i dont believe this statement for even a second. ITs more likly that you don't realise that you are flaming and jsut think that you are "defending yourself" etc etc. I mean, how did you describe your logs in the opening post?

"I don't consider hate speech to be a problem" isn't a justifiable excuse for using it, ESPECIALLY since if this got you permanently banned your behavior in the past must have had issues as well.

Not at all. Your own use of hate speech and insulting/belittling language, combined with pointing out your teammate's poor performances and blaming them for losses is what got you banned.

You're right all of those things are unacceptable. That's why from now on I'll refrain from litterely copying the other person's text. As I stated in the post, all of these things are litterely copies from what they said to me. Yeah but the ggez was unsportsmanlike, that's true.

That is not an acceptable reason for displaying problematic behavior. I also doubt that the players said all of these things to you, specifically things like:

"We lost because of Twitch" "You're 1/8" "You really don't know how this game works"

...and so on. I'm afraid this is a punishment that seems perfectly deserved.

Yeah the Twitch one wasn't exactly copied. He said 'We lost because of Singed' (Me) The other one he was flaming his jgl saying 'he's 1/6!' But the 3rd one was definitely exactly copied. She said 'wow you're such a terrible player, you don't know how this game works... bronce players...'

Yeah as far as I can see it's only a lot of 'fuck' and twice '%%%%%%' to my friend as banter, but nothing else really... I've seen much much worse people not getting banned. For example the 3 people I listed who were litterely the only ones who wanted to report me (The rest reported them) can all still play, while I get permed? There's also people wishing cancer on my family and telling me to kill myself and they can still play too.
