Why is saying "Boosting is wrong" is a reportable offense?

Why are people getting reported for voicing their annoyance when a Bronze ranked player brings a Diamond player into their match purely to win the game. This is akin to cheating in my book and is rather dishonorable in my opinion. So why is telling people that its wrong and they deserve all they get when they lose, a reportable offense?

Seems pretty much that "All Chat" is a trap set up by Riot to get premades to report each other. You cannot say anything in this game or make any valid objections or observations otherwise the premade will gang up on you for stating the truth.

"Ganging up" is not a thing when it comes to reporting. A report triggers the automated system to evaluate the game on the reported player for bad behavior, bad language, and in extreme cases, illicit activity or programs. If one person reports you, the system scans your game. If 9 people report you, the system scans your game. The system isn't scanning the game any harder for 9 reports versus that 1 report.

Anyone at anytime can report you for any reason. But you should be far more worried about what is bannable.

Here are a few points I think you should consider.

  1. There is a limitation on how much of an elo difference between the two players for them to be able to duo queue in ranked games, meaning that Bronze and Diamond can't play in a solo/duo queue ranked game together.
  2. If you were referring to normal games, then there isn't a "boosting" in playing with a high elo friend, and that normal MMR has already been established to be independent from ranked MMR so it's very possible a Diamond player who only plays ranked games has a bronze MMR in normal games.
