I was demoted to honor level 1 after unnecessarily flaming my team. How long until I get Honor level 2 back?

When you've earned it. I would guess it takes about as long as getting from level 2 to level 3 does.

my sub account got a 10 game chat res... it took me about 10 games over 2 days to unlock it.. and 1 day to hit honor 2
