I doubt if anyone got banned for just saying I will report ya,but the poster does have an indirect point. Factors: This is a fighting game. Your objective is to KILL your enemy and takes his base. This does stir the emotions of most people that are not robots. Factors: Trash talk is a part all sports activity esports included, but somehow, for some reason, riot has said not here. My opinion, which nobody really cares about is they focus so much time and attention on verbal exchanges is that is the only thing they can really control. They cannot control the jungler who spends the entire game afk farming and fights the last 5 mins of the game. They cannot really control unless self professed intentional feeder from unskilled. They cannot control smurf payers who have been banned who start over and destoy newer players. They cannot control the really toxic players who ruin games by their play, not their words. The only they can really enforc and come down hard o is negative chat, which is really a small part of the negative experience since can use the mute button.
I love the game, warts and all. But spending money on skins that they can just take away and you have to start over and buy new skins again? That’s not exactly right i. My opinion. I played for about 7 years and spent money in the game but would I do again? No way. Not a dime. A better idea would be two things. Rather than a permaban where you lose all the money and time you spent in the game, that unless a person is going around saying I will kill someone over and over you give say a 3 month ban. If banned again, you give a 1 year ban. But just taking poeple’s money like that without any way of appeal, is an easy way for Riot to keep their numbers up, with people starting or having multiple accounts and getting people who already have the skins fornthe champions they main, tomspend the money again. Riot can deny the motivation, but the results are accurate.
