RE: Assholes in League and Why this List Exists Rather than Reporting Them

To: Riot I use the reporting system whenever possible, but I cannot find a way to report them during character pick before someone dodges because they can not stand being put through 45 minutes of them screwing us over.
If you don't like my post, then create a way to report in character pick.
I understand why there is no option to report on profile page because there is no chat to review there and it is subjective.

Two things here:

Once a thread has been removed, nobody can see it but the OP (you) and the mod team that took it down.
Naming and shaming is absolutely not allowed on the Boards and if you were doing so in your original post, that's why it got removed.

It wasn't shaming, but it was naming. It was more of a general look out of:

I can't report these people the normal way because of pre and post game chat
they made sexual or extremely aggravating unnecessary comments, many times in addition to/after role-stealing.

It is very upsetting, but I can sort of understand the not naming policy. I thought there might be something to that case if I were to rant about them in bad terms, which is why I tried to simply explain. Thank you for the thoughtful reply.

Complaining about someone's behavior and giving their name IS naming and shaming. If you have a problem with a player you encountered, submit a support ticket. The boards is not the place to report people for their behavior.

As Sarutobi stated, Riot can see pre and post-game chat. Simply report the player and make a note of where the issue was and Riot will review it.

This is why I wish Riot included the pre and post game chat inside a report. It will make everything easier to determine what is and is not a "worthy ban"

We need that. Quite a few of the people who were making more sexual comments would only do so in pre/post chat. I made these posts because I love this game, but I am tired of this aspect of it. It just made my friend cry because it had been the fourth such game in a row where someone did that.

While we dont see it in the chatlogs Riot provides, they do actually look at when someone is reported. Why do people assume they dont?
