Returning Player Feedback for Riot: League of Reporting

Hey everyone, veteran player here! I first stopped playing when season 4 ended, and although many reason as to why I stopped pertained to the direction the game was going, I mainly left because I found I was reporting players literally every other game. I figured this was just because people get cranky about what rank they ended up with or since ranked was done, the ranked players get to beat up on non-ranked players and rub it all in.

I came back during the mastery changes for a while, and found I was reporting several people every other game. The frequency was so absurdly high, and the Thunderlord's worship literally killed the game for me. That's right, I also fell for the whole "pick masteries based on your play-style" bait. ANyone who didn't run Thunderlords either got harassed right off the bat, or wrecked, and then harassed. So I left again. In fact, I even uninstalled because even the featured game modes were horrible experiences.

When the anniversary stuff rolled around, I got convinced by a friend to try and pick the game back up. WOW! I came back about a week ago and find the community is even MORE toxic than when I left it. Go ahead and check all my draft games! Is this really what is now accepted in the community?

I don't even know why I was so stupid as to waste several hours researching the latest lane match ups and 12 new champions that came out since my departure when I should've dove into some games to find out if it'd even be worth it first.

Why are you even here? obviously the game is not for you, I checked your match history. It makes perfect sense...

"Veteran" should be a title applied to those who know what they are doing in the game

The community is garbage and the game is broke af. A ton of fanboys who've benefited from being on the lucky end of matchmaking and unbalance will downvote you but you're right.

It's too bad because this used to be a fun game, now it's just a toxic cess pool.

I get about 1 good game out of 40, rest are horrible wastes of time. It'd be different if even in losing games you got to work on improving but with the current game state it's just a roflstomp one way or the other.

Seems like it started really getting bad when Tencent bought LoL, either way, gg riot, keep creating a more and more toxic game.

"People play games to have fun" it's the new meta. If you suck that bad at the game, as most of the player base now does, just "have fun" which would consist of trolling, feeding, false reporting, committing acts of discrimination...

It is all much easier then actually putting effort into learning something.
