Why is this community so toxic?

Like what are you supposed to do with kids who just don't want to listen, who don't want any tips or any advice, they just shut you out and then you lose the game. How am I supposed to climb with so many toxic kids in this community. Our Renekton does an unnecessary teleport, no where near the rest of us, he dies 1v3 and we're to blame? And then he leaves the game and comes back after they win and says "try harder." What is the point? Can someone help me find the light?

The point is, yes. This community sucks, but once in a blue moon you'll find someone who seems to actually be worth an Honor. (You remember those?)

I honestly used to wanna be that person... But, of course, years of ranked have turned me into a bitter and cynical bunghole.

When dealing with idiots, keeping in mind you're an idiot to someone else, the best thing to do is to keep your head. Nothing else to say on that.

BUT HEY! Look at the bright side! Here, unlike Dota 2, when people are swearing you out, they aren't screaming into a horrible and cheap Mic!

Maybe if you continue reading you'll see that I said people are quick to shut you out and tell you to stfu because they don't want to hear it, they don't want to admit their mistake because they think they're at a pro level. Judging by your comment I'm assuming you think otherwise about this community, so explain it to me then :)

Your intent was to insult the target (Calling the "kids") while simultaneously decrying active "toxicity", failing to realize that slinging insults especially at broad groups, is considered toxicity. What a waste of time, Arael the Cruel, I am abandoning your tactics, they are truly useless.

The crux of my argument was that you are suffering from Dunning-Kruger syndrome which is a combination of overconfidence and low self-awareness manifesting in overvaluing one's attributes while devaluing the attributes of others. In your case; You ignore your own toxicity while overplaying the toxicity of others.

Red herring/strawman argument.

That is not what I said, but good job pretending like my argument was not clear. Such an attitude is also indicative of toxicity, doubly so because of your opening line of "Are you ill".

I look forward to your eventual "WHY WAS I PERMA-BANNED" thread. By the way, there is a word for people that do things that they criticize others for doing... I hope the point is not lost you but I know it is.... just as my explaining of the incredibly obvious point was pre-destined to fail. If you are too (Word) to fail to understand an incredibly basic concept, an explanation of the concept is pointless (Ha-ha, suck it Arael the Cruel).

Every community is toxic you just don't need to rely and coordinate with other people in CoD and Halo. You get twelve year old assholes in every video game, you just don't need them in succeed in other games.

if your question is "how to climb", then get a few non-ragers and dynamic queue with them.

if your question is "why is the community so toxic", there are lots of answers to that, alot of it comes from being overly defensive and not understanding how the report system works.

if your question is "whats the point" then you have to find tha point yourself of why you are playing. are you finding the thrill in improvement? or thrill in being competitive?

if your question is "someone help me find the light", then go outside, there's lots of light there.

that being said, what IS your question?
