PSA: if you're here to disagree with the rules, expect nothing.

To elaborate, if you are anything like me, coming here to express your dissatisfaction with a system that will have you treated like scum for some bad words that do nothing but hurt someone's feelings, but do absolutely nothing about actions that objectively ruin matches, don't bother. It's abundantly clear that the people here (and the people at Riot) will not listen to any sort of criticism. To them, having every other match of yours ruined by some asshole is just fine and dandy, but if you snap at them and get punished, you clearly deserved it. It's a no-compromise, "take it or leave it" matter. And if that's how it is, leaving is the only reasonable choice.

(On a personal note, I really wanted to like this game. Hell, for years, I did like this game. But at this point, the existing policies have made it impossible. It's like going to your favorite restaurant to have a nice meal. Sure, it has a good flavor, but you don't really wanna eat it anymore when people come up to your table to spit in your food and the owners do nothing about them, now do you?)

  1. To be blunt, your feelings don't matter - the feelings of the community do. The community has, since early seasons, consistently said behavior such as that which is punished is not wanted in League. It doesn't matter if you "disagree" - that's not going to change the rules. So simply coming here to disagree is not a valid discussion.

  2. Riot does do things about intentional actions which ruin matches. If someone is intentionally ruining a match, they will virtually certainly be punished. If their behavior is not provably intentional, such as players who just look like they're having a bad game, they will not be punished because there is no way to verify it was intentional.

  3. It's not a "take it or leave it". It's a "be a decent human being even when others aren't". That's kinda how life works.

Nope!

Most of the people here on the PB Boards are especially open to discussion. If you have a valid argument, go right ahead and discuss it. If you face opposing opinions, that just means you're sparking lively discussion.

This is not one of those situations where there's a valid argument to be made. You're not allowed to stoop to someone's level and simultaneously put yourself on a pedestal. I absolutely hate making comparison's to IRL situations when it comes to in game punishments, but it is functionally the same as committing a crime.

Don't worry, I got your back. I'm currently putting together a case to expose them. It'll likely get downvoted and buried by the riot fan club (mainly people that work there) but who knows, with your help and everyone else who has been mistreated, we might be able to make it go viral enough to make impact. Stay tuned.

I will say this, every other match isn't ruined. it's very very very very very rare that i get trolled in games and when i ask my friends they say the same thing. You may be just bias, and looking at the bad games more than the good games. I suggest meditation, and gratitude. You'll learn to see more of the positive in your life, and games, and the negative will be less of impact on your mood.
