hello,sorry for bothering but i'm having an issue with hextech boxes and key shards. for the last 3-4 weeks there hasn't been a sign of getting hextech box/key shards. i haven't had problems with getting it at the beginning,i opened 2-3 boxes (so 2-3 boxes plus 3 keys-9 shards),one of each key and box being free from riot on my profile it says that boxes are available,not only one but more of them and it resets regularly when i play aram with champs i don't have,lol says to me that i cant get reward since i don't own the champs but otherwise i get no response nor i have the reason to not get the shards/boxes even when i play with my teammates and get an s grade in fight or victory,they get some kind of hextech reward and i get none. my friends had issue with not getting anything after a few weeks but then it got reset so they started getting rewards again is there any way to fix this problem? i have contacted riot over facebook because i couldn't reach forum but i got no answer thanks in advance

Its called marketting my friend.You wont get a single keyshard in 5 months then you will say FUCK IT and EVENTUALLY will buy the damn key.I didnt get a single keyshard for 3 months now....so yeah.

You have to remember some things with Hextech.

First off, You can only get so much boxes during the month. Not too sure exactly how it works. But you start out with 4, and i think its put on a timer of a week(?) so when you go into your profile and it has the chest NOT highlighted then you cannot get chest till it restarts.

Second, You cannot get a chest from a champion you have already gotten a chest for. This includes you and your party (if you are in a party). So basically if you play say Sona and get an S and get a chest, then the next the person in your party plays Sona and gets an S, you wont be able to get a chest despite being playing with them and them getting an S because you have already gotten it from that Champion.

With Key Shards. Its basically as you get Key Fragments the lower the chances of you getting them. Like your first 5 or so will basically be easy to get. After that (not sure the real number) you could basically play 30+ games and not find any. its just how it is.

All in all remember that this is a fairly new system for this game. It does need improvements and im sure they are working to make it so everyone is happy!

update: just got key shard,and it was even my first fight today,guess it's my lucky day*[slayer-jinx-catface]*
