well on a recent ranked match i was top i took yasuo and my midlaner was tilted cuz i took him and decided to troll and lock in to yi leaving me to lose my current elo and dropping down the ladder cuz i was on my last LP and on a similar match i left que and got in leaver buster for it do u think its fair for me to be punished for what others do ? and shouldnt people like these get a ban from ranked matches ?
Riot doesn't ban people based on what champions they pick, unless its Singed support with smite. Playing mid Yi isn't punishable.
Do you have proof he picked Yi mid with the intention of making his team lose?
If yes. He'll be banned.
If no. He won't be banned.
I play Yi mid sometimes on my smurf that doesn't have enough champions.
Master Yi mid is most certainly an odd pick, but it's not necessarily a troll pick. I've seen it used legitmately before.
If you can prove that he wasn't trying his best to win, then you might have a case, but otherwise, Master Yi mid is legitimate.
