Why is this even a problem in the community? I've seen variants of this like 5 times. You can't just not ban having "klu klux" in people's clan tags? Why aren't their harsher punishments for this type of behavior? It makes me not even want to play the game being bombarded with this type of racism.

KKK is 100% legal to be a part of, white supremacy is just as legal as homosexuality, or being part of a book club as long as you arent breaking real laws.
If youre not harming anyone, it is 100% within your right to be a part of a white supremacist group as an american.
Ill state this again,** as an american citizen, you are allowed to hate anyone you want in this world for any reason you want.** You however are** not allowed to act out on those feelings** in anyway that is seen as illegal. Ie: battery, slander, murder.

aprox 20 years ago we named ourself the Killer-Keks-Kommando, which translates roughly into cookie-crunch-commando (Because every damn time we just ate cookies.. it was fun.. it was a joke) it took about 7 (2006) years and a tournament in London where a our initials were on the Holoband (KKKo) that we noticed we need to change something about that
So in all honesty.. are they really just KKK or Ku-Klux-Klan in full?

It seems really strange to frame people concerned about the use of KKK tags as "overly sensitive" when the KKK and their associates have killed like 40 people over the past year, with promises to kill more.
People think it makes them edgy and hilarious and not tiresome.

Political Discussions are directly against the Universal Rules, so while you may see it here, please know NOT to post things of this nature in the future. While the sentiment of the original comment is genuine and heartfelt, I think it's officially time to try and clean up this thread. Overly political discussions, including those based on race, aren't allowed on the Boards according to the Universal Rules, and that's what this has turned into.
If you are well aware that your comments are over the line of being political, I suggest you remove them. I'll be back tomorrow to have a look at any progress, and clean up as necessary and possibly make a decision about locking the thread.
With regard to OP: I'm well aware that referencing the KKK can be political. However, this comment is calling out negative and racist behaviour first and foremost. That's why the thread's getting some time to get back on track.
Three K's in baseball is striking out the side, that one thought, K's are not necessarily due to white supremacy...
It's hard to create a program that catches every variant of it and it just hasn't been deemed a big issue.
On the other hand I find you complaining about this with the summoner name you have a bit ironic.
You can report inappropriate names and tags. If Riot deems it inappropriate, Riot forces a mandatory change on the player or club tag.
Are inappropriate clan tags even reportable? lol I know names are but I don't know about tags
