Regarding 3rd party perma bans

As many have already discussed in posts before a very small group of individuals were ban for reasons unknown to them. While this does suck for those who are Innocent i firmly believe the obvious number of individuals who are using these 3rd party programs vastly outnumber those who do not. Therefore being close to impossible in weeding these players apart from each other.

After sending a ticket in and been given the generic responses, human written or not, they all gave the reasoning why they** cannot **disclose the information that has triggered the system to flag the accounts. So in short, it does not matter if you send in as much information as you can to prove your innocence support will not/cannot give you the information you are asking for. This is understandable for keeping the integrity of the game but difficult to those unjustly punished.

For those who are innocent trust me i feel you. I put a lot of time into a bronze account even thought that's not much to be proud of. Until they create a better system i would recommend either not playing another account or just doing a completely new OS install so this will not happen again in the future. I myself have chose to not do a HD wipe for a game that, while fun, can take away and nullify my time spent on the rifts doing battle lol...

Side note: Guys if you are one of the few that truly believes you are innocent i would advise not getting upset or making snide remarks as it will not improve the situation. Asking the same questions over and over will get you no were either. Try to keep the thoughts going to attempt to find a path that could be traversed in the right direction to improve the situation of the small number of people who are in our situation.

these are just things i use on the daily.

Great news!!! I got my account back i do hope there are others who get their justice they deserve! Please do not flame the support just show patience and if you are really innocent i believe they will help you back to the rifts!

I'm sorry but that's a bullshit excuse. So pretty much the ban innocent gamers because their program blows and their excuse is "well we got a lot of actually cheaters banned too?" So that justifies the banning of fair players??? Not in my book. And sorry I'm not going to stop trying to get my account back when I was wrongfully banned.

Here's the problem with your post:

Riot recently (a few weeks ago) won a lawsuit against one of, if not the largest, LoL scripting community. On their forums, they draft these posts together to try to raise doubts about the system that banned them before posting here in an attempt to get the general playerbase behind them.

The software that Riot uses to detect 3rd party programs is pretty solid. The odds of a false positive are extremely slim, something like .0001%. When you send in a ticket, they do a manual review to ensure that you're not part of that incredibly small group that may have been banned by mistake. There isn't any evidence needed as they have it all. You can't say "I never used program xyz" because they know exactly what programs you were using.

Additionally, afaik, there are no real uses of the bannable programs other than to cheat at LoL. So, they're not something you could get by accident, with the exception of sharing a PC.

This is the issue. What could you send that would prove your innocence? Anything you send could be regarded as information from an untrustworthy source and dismissed.

It's next to impossible to prove an absence of cheating, when you don't know how they made the decision in the first place. And even if you knew what caused it, how do you prove you didn't use the detected cheating program?
