So it seems that now every few games some troll bans someones champ, steals someones, and then takes troll runes and masteries, and as anyone who plays this game knows it's a godsend when Riots discuss a problem with the game, but I figured we might as well. I remember a thread a few years ago where someone suggested a group vote to cancel the game and go back to match search, I think a basic concept like that, if further celebrated on of course, could work.

So by trolling, they hope for a member to dodge. So by implementing that voting system, it'll do nothing but encourage trolls to increase in hopes for another try out at the queue until they get the role they want.
My suggestion is we add a report button in champ select, where the majority of the players can actually agree on reporting trolls together. If the system does verify the report, they get punished on the spot. Which would reset the queue, but with trollers being punished.

The problem with champ select report is it will encourage "plz report xxx" in champ select (you and I both know this is a very real thing). What happens when the report fail? You will have a very pissed off teammate before the game even begins. If the xxx is a troll, that will 105% guarantee he will troll in-game. If the xxx is not a troll, but simply someone who doesn't want to play with or against Yasuo, you will have a very angry teammate to play with. I know that if you are lobbying to report me just because I don't want to play with or against any newly released/reworked champ, I sure as hell ain't going to help you, group with you, or even want to fight with you.
Dat Kat2 votesThat's why I mentioned validation. It's not like you will be issued a penalty for a false random reports, just because some group of premades decided to. There obviously have to be some bounds, and rules to tick a champ select report.
As long as players behave, and act with respect towards each other, nobody will actually be issued a penalty even if they get reported "for fun". But players usually agree on reporting a troll, who bans other people's picks ( which the auto system can be able to verify with the right work done to it ) by checking the activity during the ban face on that account. That's just an example of what it could be able to do.
A team can easily recognize a troll on the spot, during champ select.

I am talking about the whole "plz report xxx" people seem to always use like some kind of weapon against troll. If there is a choice to report during champ select, people will be spamming that the entire chatbox and create a toxic environment before the game even begins.

TerathThyBrave1 votesI agree with the first paragraph that Riot needs to fix the amount of auto-fill in a game about specific lanes, my suggestion would have a button that makes it so you absolute get your role but with an note saying it could take longer, that way there's literally no down side. But I think the 'return to que' vote would be better than nothing, because at least that way if you get a troll some innocent player doesn't have to loose LP via dodging because of something that is out of his command. As for the report button that sounds like a good idea to me, it would be nice and help get rid of trolls, if reports actually did anything that is.

I think zPOOPz was talking about witch hunt reports, like how a 4 man pre made can go into a game and be extremely toxic. Then in all chat make the enemy team believe that the random person was trolling and the trollers will get a higher chance of the random getting banned or punished.
But then with a toxic four man premade, they can report the random if he/she says anything or does anything in champ select that the pre made can report the random for.

Small detail to add: if anybody gets reported then the queue resets anyways. This lowers the chance of a person entering the game on the verge of becoming toxic because he got falsely reported and it failed, or from a toxic person entering the game in general.
