Banned? Can someone help enlighten me?

I got banned from play for 2 weeks today for toxicity. Never been banned before or anything like that. And of course there's no rebuttal to this ban whatsoever, which is shite in and of itself. I've been here since season two and never been banned.

The name of the guy who flamed all game and reported me? **-edited by moderation due to naming and shaming- **For real?!

This insta-ban for 2 weeks doesn't seem to add up, considering I just got to lvl 5 honors.

Anyone have any insight?

You told another player to kill themselves, twice, over a video game. That is not acceptable, and encouraging suicide is taken very seriously. Your ban was completely earned, your previous history of good behavior doesn't make this okay.

Calling other players trash and calling them retarded, both of which you did in this log, will get you punished. Telling them to kill themselves will get you punished very aggressively, and you also did that in the form of the phrase "kys."

Encouraging self-harm earns an immediate 14-day ban. The rest is not helping your case either.

We can't determine why you escalated so fast without chat logs or reform cards Even if they are as colorful as you claim, we need you to post them to give accurate insight

Edit: Ah, ok now that i can see your logs, its because you dropped kys... Not once, but twice. The rest is mildly toxic, but those words would only be a chat restriction. Being that KYS is a zero tolerance phrase no matter the context, you will immediately escalate to 14 day, regardless of past actions and/or behavior.

PLEASE LET THIS BE A WARNING THOUGH. BECAUSE YOU HAVE A 14 DAY, ANY FURTHER TOXICITY AFTER YOU GET OFF, NO MATTER HOW MILD, WILL GET YOU BANNED, SO I IMPLORE YOU JUST GO INTO GAMES AND IMMEDIATELY /MUTE ALL

Nope I'm sorry Riot has a zero tolerance policy for two things N-word kys As far as I am aware those are the only two things that are instaban, no questions asked. Sorry bud

Could you please show us your chat logs? Otherwise everyone will assume you are hiding them for a reason and you did deserve the ban. P.S. The boards don't like when you name your teammates/enemies.

Trash talking your teammates. Ask yourself, how does this help motivate people to win? How is this constructive? Do you think this is something that's going to make someone want to keep playing?

Calling for reports on your teammates and harassing them just puts a bit of icing on the cake.

I'm legitimately curious as to how you didn't understand the reason for your ban. How can you not know that this is inappropriate behavior? Either you're totally naive and believe that you didn't do anything wrong---which is pretty frightening if you think about it---or you're just being obtuse and you know that this is wrong and just wanted to troll the Boards.

I actually hope it's the latter and not the former.

Bottom line: Ban is 100% deserved.

Honor isn't based on how toxic you are, it will however reflect your toxicity if you get a strike against you like you did, "kys" is an automatic strike against you, and you were clearly toxic in this game, so there's no way you weren't gonna get dinged no matter what honor you are.

KYS is a zero tolerance word/phrase that gets you insta-14-day-banned for using it. It's considered harassment, very toxic, and absolutely unacceptable by Riot.

You also call your teammates trash and you try to hide calling someone a retard by spelling it retad and retahd. You're pretty toxic in chat even without using zero tolerance words...
