14-day Suspension - This is the whole log

So I login today to find I've been given a 14-day Suspension - This is the WHOLE chat log. Keep in mind one player on my team was telling me to "KYS" repeatedly during the game. I "threatened" an AFK out of frustration but never went AFK.

Game 1 fleeman: LOL i get chatbanned when the guy last game was telling me to "KYS" all game. fuck this game, and fuck riot games fleeman: im afk. have. fucking. fun fleeman: im not afk WTF....fuck u fleeman: ouch....sry guys he got me real good =-( fleeman: yea...report ME of all ppl lmao fleeman: hes useless.....varus and thresh were 150hp under our tower and he never helps fleeman: pls surrender this

Threatening to go afk is extremly toxic in itself, even if you dont do it. I'd have muted you at that point and reported you afterwards..

Yep, this is definitly worthy of a punishment, and if you had a CR before, 14-day ban is the next step.

Doesn't change or justify your logs in any way. Irrelevant.

Totally agree with this.

You were on a chat restriction. You should've been on your uber best behavior - you were on an active punishment because you behaved poorly, OP. And you chose to continue negativity - showing the chat restriction did nothing to you. Thus, the next step is a 14 day ban to try and get the message across that this behavior is not okay.

Keep in mind OP the next step is a permanent ban, for any negativity, however minor.

Riots system is flawed in this aspect, Never quote a troll or flamer. Because Riot does not personally look at chat logs, But their automated system will pickup key words or phrases that you type and will flag that as toxic...never quote a troll..

Yea I'm honestly not sure why. I've NEVER used ANY kind of "hate speech." Absolutely ZERO racist, homophobic or sexist comments and absolutely ZERO comments insinuating any kind of harm of threat to another individual's person.

Riot doesn't manually read chat logs, They have their "State of the art" Player behavior system that just scans every game for key words and phrases, then flags players for using certain words. If we had tribune like we used to..you prob wouldn't have been punished..but yay riot, anyway, send in a support ticket and ask for a manual revision of your punishment, send them an attachment of your chatlog

I dont understand. I wasn't saying "KYS" to anyone. I was pointing out how other people were saying it to me repeatedly during the previous game as well as the current........

It's generally considered very ill-advised to repeat any sort of hate-speech or instructions to self-harm, even if you aren't directing the phrases at anyone in particular. That said, It's clear that you weren't intending to direct this at anyone in particular.

When was your last chat restriction? Was it a 10 game or a 25 game? If it was a 10 game, then you should definitely submit a ticket to Player Support and ask them to review this log and see if they would consider reducing this punishment. Just try to be very polite, and be patient. Don't be demanding with them! It will look bad enough when the log starts out with "fuck this game, and fuck riot games." But if you haven't had a recent 25 game chat restriction, then you likely shouldn't have been eligible for a normal transition up to the 14 day suspension, and it was probably just escalated up because of the kys, and they can consider reducing it to the 25 game restriction if you don't antagonize them.

I was ON a 25-game restriction when this occurred. I was never even allowed to serve out that punishment. Also I'm not sure if this is what you are insinuating but the idea that saying "fuck this game" or "fuck riot games" should be a BANNABLE offense is really quite extreme in my opinion....

So you got punished while on a punishment. Yes, it would give you the next step in the punishment tier. Only time that is an exception is when not able to serve a 14 day ban

Try sending in a ticket. They may consider reducing it for you, or they may tell you that since you continued to be toxic while on the 25 game chat restriction it was bumped up to the next level. But it won't hurt to at least talk to them about it, and ask them to look into it. Since it does seem like the kys comment was the main trigger here, and that's something that does seem to have been taken a bit out of context, since the IFS can't judge that.

I doubt the "kys" is the main trigger here. The system actually can detect if someone is quoting it - hence why all these threads about "it takes twice to get punished" - it really doesn't take twice but it does attempt to filter out the quoting of it when possible, given that a quoted "kys" isn't the same as a quoted hate speech.

That being said, the rest of the log is punishable by itself, thus I think it's unlikely they reduce it at all.

yep useless is definitely a trigger word, especially in conjunction with like FF or GG, or any use of the word AFK, even if being used to describe a player who is actually AFK.

it's not just about trigger words, and my comment was more referring to how you can go up in tiers of punishment. Getting a 14-day ban is not unusual if you remain toxic in chat even after getting chat restrictions.

You claimed to go afk, which, even if you don't end up doing so,you're being a major dick because you're putting everyone under stress.

And you seem like a generally antagonistic person, so it seems like it's a pass, yeah. It most likely skipped a punishment due to the bot catching that phrase when your account is already in a bad standing.

I feel like THREATENING to "Go AFK" and calling someone "Useless" (when he was something like 1/12/3 @ 20 minutes) is an ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS EXCUSE to permanently ban accounts and force players to rebuy everything they owned.

Some games simply ARE NOT WINNABLE and being FORCED to sit around in a game where my team is down 10 kills to 40 and 0 towers to 6 because a duo Q, who ALSO trolled me the entire game, refuses to surrender is a bit over the top.

I didn’t know Riot put a gun to your head telling you to rebuy the things you lost.

99% of Games I play have turned around as late as 40 minutes into the game. There is 0 excuse for threatening to AFK. You were also super disrespectful to the other players in your game, and if I had to guess, you’ve had a 24 day suspension in the past, warranting a permanent ban.

You clearly have learned ZERO from your previous punishment. Absolutely zero. I hope you realize this is your last chance. Next time, even a small offensive statement like "you idiot" WILL get you permabanned.
