Alright so I recently got chat restricted for what I think is a very dumb reason. I have been a consistently positive player and was at honor level 3 before this. An important thing to notice here is that the one person person playing yasuo I was responding to in the game was also punished as I got a notification for it. So riot, please explain how we can both be wrong and why exactly I get punished for responding to someone who openly admits not trying and feeding in a ranked game and responding to the rest of my team who were consistently flaming and blaming me for losing the game while I had the best score and dmg on the team and ganked every lane. Here is the chat log, the first messages were my concern for our Tristana who bought boots first item and ended the game with the lowest damage out of anyone in the game, even supports. I'll admit it looks toxic on its own but take into account I was responding to people.

Other players aren't responsible for what you choose to say or if you respond to their negativity. Only you are responsible for your own actions. Just because they're toxic doesn't mean you get to be too.

With that said, you chose to say some vulgar, insulting, and inflammatory things. Therefore, got you penalized.

It's one thing to call him bad, but useless and a joke kinda pushed it over the edge. Just say "reported" mute him and move on.

You spend the game harassing, not defending, harassing you had the opportunity to end the conflict, by muting the person/people, but you choose to retaliate.

If I were you, I would be thankful that it's just a chat restriction.
