So, my idea is simple. A ribbon doesn't seem to be too worthy to strive for. It gets the view messy and complicated in the loading screen. Also it doesn't add anything to a player that really deserves something for his or her nice behaviour. So, I suggest an** IP boost** instead of granting a ribbon. I believe, that this change would make the community less toxic and have a possitive impact in the gameplay!
The problem is, I don't really need IP. I have all the champions, I'm just working on getting more rune pages, but I have all the runes that I want (I just need the pages). So, while I had a ribbon for over a year and a half, an IP boost wouldn't do anything for me.
Don't get me wrong, the ribbon idea wasn't very good, no one really liked it, but an IP boost really isn't much of an incentive for me. Who knows maybe that's just me.
