I used to be toxic as hell, raging at my teams without any reason. Like most bronze players probably have at one point or another. But since that day of my account getting perma banned I've invested into a new account putting all that talk about reform and no more toxic me I've climbed to Gold IV and have honor 4 which I'm pretty sure in a couple games will be honor 5. I'm not here to plead my case but I'm here to say toxicity doesn't win games. I've chosen this moment to speak of this because of the recent firing of Riot Sanjuro because of his well, toxic behaviour to say the least. To show that no one can get away with toxicity even rioters. Basically what i'm trying to say is being toxic doesn't do anything but make you perma banned. It doesn't make you alpha #freetyler1. It doesn't make you cool. It hurts people's emotions that's all i got to say i went from bronze 4 to gold 4 in 6 months roughly just from pulling the chat box off my screen. You are playing a video game for entertainment. He was employed by a company and represented them in a horrible way. If you've ever had a job then you would know that speaking like that would get you fired. He said it in the OFFICIAL LOL DISCORD for fucks sake, he made a dumb decision and let's hope he reflects on it in his future employments.

Sanjuro was certainly punished because of his behavior, but the severity of punishment was probably far worse because of public backlash.

We as a community are not free from responsibility simply because we are seeking vengeance for a wrongdoing.

Tyler1 is still toxic. He's not ready to be unbanned yet. That said, I think that the punishment and reform system could do with improvements to better aid players in becoming less toxic.

If you're going to create a survey, don't be a dick about it.

Have simple yes, no and neutral options.

Making such polarized statements is manipulative. It's like calling anti-abortion groups pro-life. Implying that anyone who disagrees with them is anti life. That shit is fucked up. Don't be a manipulative prick like them.

The only comment I'll make to your post is that even though it can be difficult to keep the chat box on your screen, sometimes it's good to still have the option to communicate. It's necessary and some people may get frustrated if you aren't trying to actively be a part of the 'team'. Yes, there are other ways to do this and I'm sure it's not a big deal, but whenever you can get to a point where you can handle it, might be the next - big - step in the right direction.

Once again, kudos and congrats! Keep climbing.
