Since RIot's Support team cant realy answer my question i guess i have to somehow get the attention from someone at riot. 1stly,whats the point of the riot support team since 99% of them are bots,i ask about the punishment decay system and the bot gives me a copy paste response on how to avoid getting banned,i mean i waited almost 2 weeks for a response by a bot how is that even rational?. 2ndly,this is the second thread i am making on the subject, can i get someone at riot to explain how the punishment decay works? You would expect a company with a player support team and boards full of moderators to be able to answer this but this is some steam level customer support.

You didn't get a specific answer because there isn't one. Be a sportsmanlike player and you don't have to worry about being punished, and over time your tier will diminish naturally. Playing games and showing reform is the only way to lower it.

If the system sees you as reformed or in the process of reforming adequately then it drops you punishment tiers. You won't know when it happens. Just don't break the summoner's code and you won't have to worry about it.

Maybe it was because your question is unclear.

For behavior, its 3 months of being active, without being punished to drop a tier. For Hextech rewards, it varies based on punishment and how much you are getting reported. For leaver buster, its about the number of games you play without getting DCed.

Most the time, there isn't a set number, cos Riot wants you to fully reform instead of faking it for a set number of games.
