"Your Content Has Been Removed" and we will not respond to your concerns.-Riot 2016

I do not understand. You can take the time out of your day to remove peoples discussions from the board, but cannot simply respond to them? Am I the only one who is bothered by this? It is pretty annoying when you put a lot of effort into something you post on the boards, then next second it is gone. I had created a forum for a premade trio in a ranked game who trolled due to their champion being picked by another teammate. I reported them post-game but did not recieve a notification telling me they were punished, and wanted the community to come together and make sure that they were punished. Did they even read what I said? "We understand that you want to get word out about this player" PLAYERS* But they told me to " continue to use our in-game reporting system to put these players through our behavioral systems" when i clearly stated that the report system did not work. First, your post was removed by the Moderation staff because it broke one of the Universal Rules here on the Boards: Naming & Shaming.

Second, if you want to discuss someone's actions from a recent game, by all means do so. That doesn't mean you need to name them though. If you believe they deserve to be actioned in some way by Riot, report them in the post-game lobby. That's what the system is there for. If you want to bring the conversation to the Boards, you can talk about what they did and why you think it's wrong, but you don't need to use their name to do it. This isn't the place to report players, the in-game reporting system is.

If, for some reason, you aren't able to use the in-game reporting system you can submit a ticket to Player Support with all the relevant information.

Submit a ticket. Don't name and shame, it is against Board rules.

did not recieve a notification telling me they were punished

You will not always receive the notification. Only if you were the final person to report said players prior to their punishment.

It was probably taken off because you were Naming and Shaming which is against the rules. Also how exactly will we be able to help Ban them? we need to play a match with them, and even then they would have to break the rules while we play. If you did report them and they did break the rules and continue to break the rules they will get punished. You wont get a notification unless your report was the final straw! You wont get it all the time, but anyone who looks on this side of the forum can see that people who break the rules does get ban.

People don't get punished for a single instance of breaking the rules, barring extreme cases (like excessive hate speech or substantial personal threats). You have no way of knowing where in the system a player is to be able to know for certain that the player should have received a punishment after your one experience with them.

Like others have said, the notification about somebody being punished isn't given every time somebody you've ever reported is punished. Generally you need to have reported them in the final game that leads to that punishment, though I believe they're working on expanding that a bit so people see a little more feedback from their own reports. Heck, I've never gotten that message before, but I still believe the system is working. Just need to read some threads here every once in a while to believe that.

It's entirely possible that these people don't act that way very often. The system is built to punish players who break the rules repeatedly and consistently. Or perhaps they've done it a few times lately and are on the way to a punishment, but they've just not quite yet reached the threshold for the system to actually issue a punishment. In this case, it's likely that in a few more games, they'll trigger the punishment. And you can't go by "I've seen this guy still actively playing games" either, because maybe they did get a punishment but that punishment was a set of chat restrictions. You'd have no way of knowing if they were chat restricted by just looking at their account.

So there are plenty of reasons why you might perceive this as a case where justice wasn't done. But that doesn't mean your reports were rejected by the system, or that the player 'got away with it'. If they behave like that regularly, they will get what's coming to them.

It makes me sick to my stomach that these mods act like they are "holier than thou" and spend their day acting like police and removing good content from the boards. This does nothing but allows the real trolls to troll all day long in game without punishment while people cry about naming and shaming. I really wish you would all get off your high horse and get over yourself, you're no better than anyone else in the world.

Also you will not always get notification when someone gets punished. And its against Riots privacy policy to discuss other players account status with you. Whether he got punished and what punishment he got is between Riot and that person. Your involvement ended when u reported person.

Posting people's match history without obscuring the player names of the ones you are talking about is douchey.

Calling people out so "the community [can] come together and make sure that they were punished." is douchey.

Stop acting douchey.

Just cause you report them it doesn't mean they have to be punished right away. Maybe it was their first report. They need more than one report to make sure it's consistent behaviour and not a one time deal, there are also a lot of false reports. So once they attract attention with consistent reports they will be reviewed and punished. The only time you get a notice if someone was punished is if your report was the one to prompt the review. Also exposing someone on boards is a nono since there is potential for other people to abuse that information. Your post was deleted for a good reason IMHO...
