14 day suspension for responding to someone flaming me and someone else

Just by participating in being flamed I got 14 day suspension. I didn't say racist things or anything. This kid started calling me garbage and "report this guy and that"

This system is beyond unfair because participating or being frustrated isn't allowed

There are also things that happen in the lobby that are not recorded. The second game I was reported for was a game where in the starting room, a duo WENT OFF on me for no reason calling me trash

Then they played horribly bot lane and I got to laugh and call them out for sucking after flaming me. God forbid I ever say ANYTHING TO ANYONE even if they deserve it

I don't int, i generally have good games and have no negative KDAs so why does it matter if i respond to assholes

I don't believe you would be banned on first offense like this, so it has to have some sort of repeat history.

I've been playing since season 1 and there are times when I don't watch what I say but I've never had any kind of suspension.

This is the problem. You aren't somehow entitled to this behavior no matter how you've been treated. Riot's policies are pretty clear that this sort of behavior isn't acceptable, even if the provoking behavior is MORE unacceptable. You and you alone are responsible for your behavior, and if you choose to engage or feel "justified" in your retaliation, than any punishment you receive for your actions is likewise your responsibility.

Honestly KDA holds no value here. When you respond to assholes you are giving them exactly what they want, a reaction. When you do that you are help maintaining the toxicity in your match.
