Falsely banned or not?

I am curious as to what you all think of this situation. When I queued up for a ranked game, I had 3 people who flamed me for "Inting" and "Trolling." I wasn't doing so great and my jungler wasn't really helping me at all. I told my teammates sorry and that I was having a bad game, but I was continuously being flamed by my jungler; jungler telling me I am trolling, inting, and ends up leaving the game after a while. Because they had a majority vote and I was easily blamable for the loss of the game (I was doing pretty bad and ended up feeding the enemy by a lot which was not on purpose), I get banned for it.

that's because whatever they did or said is irrelevant to your punishment.

you are punished solely because of what you and you alone say and do. just because they were toxic, it does not mean that it's ok for you to be toxic too

I guess that could have been caught by the automated system. I should have added to the second one that I am going to keep feeding him because I am too behind and it isn't really controllable on my part. The second statement could lead to high suspicions of me actually trolling or inting.

Well thanks for the reply. It just sucks that I can create an account with a premade, flame someone to trigger them so much and report them because they replied to me that they aren't doing anything. They get banned for it and I could go on with my life after I flamed them and they took both victim of being flamed and a suspension. Think that idea isn't great. If someone gets flamed and tries to defend himself saying they are not inting and they are tilted from the flame, they should not get banned for it. Kind of odd in my opinion.

There's no such thing as self-defence in chat - you're not in danger from people's chat and typing back doesn't protect you from anything. The only thing in danger is your ego. Muting is the actual self-defence.

Premade = more people to team up against you and cause more frustration and more reports. If more than 1 person is arguing with you, you feel the need to at least defend yourself by telling them you are not trolling or doing what they are accusing you for. I am not referring to self defence as flaming back, I am referring it to defending yourself as in telling them you are not intentionally doing what they are accusing you for.

I guess because I was flamed at, I was tried to defend myself by telling them I wasn't trolling, by telling them this, I am banned. Guess I learned my lesson to play with friends and never play unless you have other people to play with or otherwise there is a chance of being enticed by a gang of players who will continue to do this in their future games and never get banned for it.

I am referring it to defending yourself as in telling them you are not intentionally doing what they are accusing you for.

why do you care what a couple of strangers you just met in champ select and who you are likely to never meet again after the game think about you?

wether you are reported by 1 of the players in the game or 9, there will only be ONEinvestigation. The other 8 reports are IGNORED. You can go ahead and check with the mods or any rioter you find. Mob mentality is not a thing!

Hey think about this.

If you have 4 people each call you out and flame you, you feel the need to defend yourself. Constantly being called out, you want to at least tell others that you aren't trolling. By muting all of them, they will just all report and you get banned. Also, it depends on which rioter you contact because some of them may just give you the "2 wrongs don't make a right" but clearly there was only one wrong and the wrongly wasn't punished. I am not sure but it seems like sometimes they automated system is depended on completely for banning and those who are in a group have a upper advantage of getting someone easily angered.

If I create an account and play with other friends and flame someone, pretty sure they will start defending themselves because they think that they are just accusing and need some sort of explanation that it isn't on purpose. That is something I would not do but I would expect to get tons of people banned because I am flaming other people. By flaming others I can get them banned. Makes total sense.

Proving someone is trolling is nearly impossible if someone is trying to conceal that they aren't. Words is what really proves if you are trolling or not.

Mass reports give more attention. Have you seen videos of that singed main who got banned? He was banned due to the number of reports and not whether his actions were justified or not initially. Being teamed up on definitely gives you a disadvantage.

The more people try to disagree with you, the more you have to justify yourself in fear of getting mass reported just like this singed player. If you are confused on who that is, it went viral back then. Pretty sure if you type of singed falsely banned, you will find it.

Automated tribunal, you get banned for number of reports and words that can catch the automated system. If I said something that had a bad word but never referred it to anyone but myself or something like that, I can get banned as long as I get reported by enough players.

he was banned because he was constantly leaving his adc to 2v1 without caring wether he was ok with that or not. he'd just lock-in singed support, mute everyone and do his own thing. that is why he got banned. he didn't get banned for picking singed or because a bunch of people reported him. do your research! don't base your information on hear-say

You say do your research but it seems like you didn't take a moment to think about what happened. I'd say you should look into it more. #1 he did not troll #2 he did not afk #3 he did not flame. He was playing things that were not meta and that's why people reported him.

With what you are saying, I can play jungle and not gank a lane and get banned for it? Technically I am never in lane and people have to play without me but I am still playing for the objective like getting drakes.

Did a few people have to get banned before people agreed that ADC doesn't have to be within the bot lane anymore to be viable and meta? Did a few people get banned for playing with TP as ADC?

The singed player got banned because multiple people reported him to the point where it got attention. There was even a rioter who explained that since many people were angry, they immediately went to ban him. Not because whether his actions were justifiable or not.

Oh and also. You took a long time to explain to me how you can immediately mute someone and ignore them that have opposing views and no need to justify yourself but this conversation has been going back and forth. You are fighting to defend your position anddddd why is that? You want to try and clarify if someone is within the wrong or not.

He was playing things that were not meta and that's why people reported him.

playing off meta is not a punishable offence. it does...not...matter how many people report you for it. you won't get punished for going off meta.

you can't get banned for playing top as adc. in season 3 i mained taric top for most of the season and i didn't get banned for doing that. i played teemo support for most of season 6. the account is still there.

You don't get what I am trying to tell you sigh. You are indirectly trying to anger me but it's fine. I just want to see what people's opinions are and you have shown yours although the statements are coinciding with your own opinions. You tell me you can't get banned for playing non meta champs and exactly why I am telling you. That singed player got banned for playing non meta according to players that reported him and that melted down to the fact he got reported by many players that led to his ban at first.

Please don't start an argument and then provide statements that coincide with them

Thanks for posting. Although you probably are trying to elicit angered responses, I really really hope the same thing doesn't happen to you where you get falsely reported due to number of reports.

The Teemo thing you were talking about. If you were in lower ranks, this may work out cause it happens often but at higher ranks, instantly the entire team will report you.

Think about it this way. If you are falsely accused of something, are you going to try to defend yourself or will you just ignore and possibly take the punishment? This is exactly what went through my mind. By having multiple people call "report for trolling" you are entitled to defend yourself because you want to show them that you are not trolling and just having a bad game. By defending yourself, you hope that at least one will sympathize with you so maybe there is some sort of confirmation that you will not get punished wrongly.

you can't be punished for something you didn't do just because someone else said you did it. more evidence is required than just "because they said so"

You wouldn't know probably because you haven't seen it happen. Play ranked and watch the person who is feeding get accused and flamed at, only to get triggered and then reported for tilting within the game. While the flamers continue to match up to continue their flame in future games

I just feel like if you have been flamed, you should get some sort of sympathy for slight things even though what I said wasn't bad at all.

If someone is bullied by everyone within the community and then replies something at that moment, I feel like that the victim should not be punished at all being enticed so much by everyone else.

You spent most of time to write an essay during the game! Use the time to think about how to handle your lane instead of just nonstop flaming and asking for help. By the way, if you can lose the lane in such a situation, maybe you are not good enough for ranked at this moment. Come to ranked to test your SKILL, not to test your LUCK.

What nonstop flaming are you talking about? You mean the nonstop flame I received? The essay was trying to tell them I was not trolling in hopes of not getting false reported like this. I am/was trying to test my skill but there are luck based within this game.

Also with your comment, "By the way, if you can lose the lane in such a situation, maybe you are not good enough for ranked at this moment." If you lose by anyone in lane like if I play against Bjergson, I shouldn't play ranked cause I am not good enough cause I lost one game within lane phase? Your comment contradicts itself. "Test your skill, lose lane, not good enough for ranked." Sometimes you just lose the game with mistakes. Ranked is a learning experience to get better. If everyone who lost their lane within one game, stops playing ranked, nobody will play ranked.

Also some days are just bad. You can be 20/0 every game but have a day where you just plain suck. It just depends

In order to tell teammates you are not trolling, simply use you own score, it can't be shown by trash typing. So if you really think that ranked is good to gain experience, then you got it. You still thinking about to get a victory?? Then improving yourself
