How long do you guys think is acceptable to get honor back, How long has it taken you to get back to honor 1 - 2 from 0 ?
Been 3 months for me, and im at checkpoint 1 of 3.. 3-6 games a day.. been playing for 5 years. had 1200 honors before the system update.
Now riot are going to restrict an entire game mode from us ??
Not really the point, im a long time users thats dropped $2k plus into this account. I used a tasteless word in 2 games whilst under the influence of alcohol, Fair enough, punish me, but 3+ months (200 games) is taking the piss.
At least you're advancing, some of us got straight bugged and won't move an inch.
Last season I finished with Honour 5 so this season I start with Honour 2 checkpoint 3. Guess where I am now after so many months of playing since the season started? Honour 2 checkpoint 3. Ouch.

That being said, considering yours is actually moving, there is the possibility that you being very slow on your progress can be partially or totally attributed to you perhaps getting reported all the time. This season they implemented so that if you get reported all the time or something like that, even if they results in no ban, your Honour progress may still end up being locked temporarily.
Id happily stay at lvl 0 if it didn't mean not being able to enter a OFFICIAL game mode.

Your progress slows drastically when reports are found valid, though they don't quite warrant a chat restrict or temp ban. That's really the only reason I could see for being so slow to progress. Don't even be borderline rude. Just stay quiet or only say positive things.
It took me a bit more than a month to get 2 checks on my way to honorlevel 2 from 1... It's possible you're getting validly reported which slows your honor progress. Which is to say if you played 200 games as you say. And you havnt reached level 2, you've also been regularly toxic, but not punishment toxic.
I was stuck too , sent a support ticket , and attacked them , I was so angry , they kept saying that I'm levelling up normally , 2 days later , got an orb , tadaa
I have been keeping track of my Honour progress ever since the new system got introduced (as they didn't want to give us a progress bar).
