Honors for having a lot of Kills.

In my opinion too much Players get honored for just killing a lot of Enemies during the game and too less Players get honors for giving tips or for great calls. I think that is a bit sad because nearly every game i get zero honors just because i dont have the best K/D/A in the game even if i do good calls and give other a lot of tips.

It's not bad if u do kills but everyone can have a good day and do a lot of kills but not everyone gives other Players tips and do good calls or just make great jokes to untilt someone.

You want a trophy for doing poorly? Trophies are for winners. Silly question.

Fir me, I first honor the person that takes a shotcaller/leadership role - pinging where to move next after laning or making suggestions that help anyone, not just me.

If they are jerks when it doesn't go well or no one takes the role, I go with the person that helped me by helping my lane or giving thanks for my help...

If no one fits that, I give tilt-proof to whoever keeps their cool - especially in a bad game.

I've seen way, way too many games where players rack up a lot of kills but ignore the objectives. I'd never honor someone for number of kills. I'd honor for killing when it counts (shotcalling) or doing great at destroying objectives. Usualy, I just honor people for being helpful and fun to play with.

This isnt quite universal. I've been honored by my entire team, with zero kills. However, yes, for the most part many just honor the one with the highest KDA... not because of the KDA itself, but because they can see it at a glance and not think about it.

It is unfortunate that most people honor the person that carries. It's not universal, though. I tend to collect plenty of honors from the support role, simply for helping out where I can and being friendly to people. Can't guarantee I'm being honored for my behavior more than my gameplay contributions, though.

People generally don't like tips. They know how to play their champion better than you do, in all likelihood. If you're not getting really fed and looking like someone who really knows what they're talking about, they won't listen to your tips, let alone honor you for them. If anything, it'll turn them off of honoring you.

In my games, the support actually seems to get the most honor most games, even though they have the fewest kills. I think that implies that people honor whoever helped make their game more enjoyable, whether or not it was the right play or contributed to winning. If the jungler gives me a bunch of ganks, i typically honor him - even if he should have been camping bot, or our top laner carried.

If you play selfishly AND don't get extremely fed and hard carry, don't expect honor. You're not making anyone's game more fun if you're playing for your own KDA - so you're only getting honored in that case if you carry and people are grateful.

However if you roam a lot, help get your allies fed, those allies will typically honor you. At least in my elo. Which explains why junglers and supports seem to consistently get the 3 honor flair whenever no one hard carried.
