Ranked Feeder Forgiveness

Dear Riot,

Is there such thing as ranked feeder forgiveness? I am not talking about someone just playing poorly. I am referring to the summoner who just decided he didn't like a gank so he left the game. Full blown DC. I wish it would of stayed there. Nope. He decided to come back and make a one man ZAC quest all the way to the other teams fountain. FYI, he made it. However, he died to their steamrolling yasuo. Then, he decided every chance he could get to "ward" - AKA dive the enemy team and taunt until he died. Even the enemy team was requesting him to stop.

It is for this very reason that this is only second ranked game I have played this season (the first one was by accident). I finally wanted to see my ranking as the season is coming to a close (I really think I am getting better). Unfortunately, I WILL NOT PLAY RANKED AGAIN THIS SEASON...IF EVER. The toxicity of ranked is beyond repair and people with smurfs who decide that they don't care about their smurf so they do this to others is unforgivable. I was hoping with the tribunal and with all the efforts that it would get better but it has not. I have avoided ranked like the plague that it is since I started in season 2: playing only the bare minimum to see my ranking and try to climb higher. IT IS NOT WORTH IT.

I play normals often and I never get these issues. ABSOLUTELY NEVER! It is ranked.

GL HF.

Did you report them?

Seriously that falls under Unsportsmanlike conduct, & assisting the enemy team at minimum.

it's not that bad, there are certain pockets of ELO that are horrible, but it's not that bad.

My first 3 ranked games, I had a galio support that dove tower a few times then afk'd and blamed me for losing lane, then a nidalee that built nothing but tears 10 minutes into the game because they dove a tower and died, and people that blamed me for losing the game while we were still in champion select because I picked taliyah (this was in 6.13 when she had a 54% winrate, and I had won like 7 or 8 games in a row with her in normals the day before). We lost that game, I went 3/1/2, everyone else was 1/6-1/8.

Ranked can definitely be frustrating and demoralizing, I don't even play it unless I'm with friends I know I can trust to not be toxic assholes.

Feeders are punished more harshly and more quickly than toxic people. This is known.
