Ok. I am not a toxic player. I do not flame people every game etc. etc. I don't believe that people deserve to be flamed for playing badly - it's stupid. There are plenty of people who DESERVE to be flamed - ie. toxic people who are flaming others - but I still don't. In fact, generally I don't say anything to anyone ever - I just ping. I get keys and honours all the time. I mean idk what to say.

I have just received a 10 game chat restriction citing the following chat logs (yes there was only ONE game cited as cause for the chat restriction). This game is a rarity I mean I would never normally say anything to anyone but it was a normals game blah blah blah here's the chat logs:

Game 1

Anonymous: stop pushing Anonymous: just last hit pls -asking my blitz sup not to push wave while i'm dead

Anonymous: yeah do something in a fight for once Anonymous: literally never do anything until im already dead Anonymous: like wake up *blitz just spam pinged my death timer (toxic) after dying for the third time in lane in a fight where he literally stands there watching doing nothing the entire fight.. then i die.. and he runs in to use his abilities (which were NOT on cd) - same thing he's done each time - notice i haven't said anything about it prior to him spam pinging my death timer. I'll admit this is a snappy tone - but the dude just spam pinged my death timer after being a potato in 3 consecutive fights.. lol.

Anonymous: could u not take the farm bot Anonymous: then come take farm elsewhere too -talking to my top laner (1/7) who has just come from bot lane taking 3 waves then run mid to fight me for the wave i have left to me after having to play safe under tower trying to defend from siege from 3 people @ mid inhib (so couldn't farm it while he was bot)

** I should probably clarify even further: our top laner was playing irelia.. so if he doens't miss time his q you literally cannot get a SINGLE last hit ever - if he wants all of them.

Anonymous: lmfao this elo *just got told to shut the fuck up by my jg'er after saying that to the top laner

Anonymous: not fun watching you feed Anonymous: and then take farm from everywhere Anonymous: and keep feeding Anonymous: lol *the rest of my team jumped in and started telling me to shut the fuck up too - "you need to learn to just play this game for fun" is what i was told by the least toxic person on the team

Anonymous: so toxic *multiple people spam pinging my death timer (I have the least deaths on the team btw)

Anonymous: *losing Anonymous: and it's not about losing Anonymous: it's about inting *least toxic player (ironically a yas) telling me that I just have to be able to accept losing somtimes - he's not wrong.. but losing isn't the point - i don't have a problem with losing i have a problem with people inting and then flaming me - bear in mind to this point i have done nothing but:

  1. ask my sup not to push while I was dead and the enemy sup was still alive (he was level 3 he couldn't have pushed the wave in even if he was alone in lane + we didnt know where their jg was)
  2. respond to my sup toxicly spam pinging my death timer as if to say "holy fuck you suck" meanwhile he's being a potato in fights
  3. ask the top laner not to farm every lane - others need farm too - would MAYBE be different if the top laner wasn't 1/7 and inting - which i didn't bring up at the time everything else has just been me responding to people flaming me

Anonymous: 1/7 *just got told IM inting - responded simply by stating his score - mine was 2/3 at the time

Anonymous: hard not to have many deaths when you guys are inting as hard as you are Anonymous: 12/1 kat Anonymous: not sure what im supposed to do to survive that (was playing adc if you haven't figured that out so the answer is: not much) - i was sitting under inhib towers refusing to leave base (score was like 4-25 or something ridiculous) and I was dying to kat just flashing into the tower from out of vision and killing me lol - right through the hexdrinker passive Anonymous: especially when you dont watch map and sup wont stay with me *"yeah well you've died a bunch too" is what I was told - above was my response

Anonymous: ff *the ff thing was actually a mistype on my part - was trying to actually put up a ff vote - it had just hit 20mins in game - i did put up the ff vote a half second after

Anonymous: yeah i mean i hardly said anything and got told to shut the fuck up by a toxic bronze jg'er *ik how that sounds - i looked him up because of all the crap he was spouting in chat - he actually is bronze that's not just me calling him bronze.

Anonymous: so yeah that would piss anyone off i think Anonymous: not flaming Anonymous: explaining inting Anonymous: to lil bronzies *that last line would be the second thing I said that is toxic - my bad - hard to keep control when ur whole team is inting and then flaming YOU the entire game

I understand it's only a 10 game chat RESTRICTION (not even a ban) but come ON.. THIS is toxic? No. I may be saying things people don't wanna hear - but it's NOT toxic - especially when you take the context of everyone flaming / being toxic to ME into account. Glad I basically never talk to anyone LOL . Wtf Riot?

It is, yes.

Most of this chat log is just constant complaining about a person on your team. It's worsening an already negative game environment and providing no benefit -- if someone really IS feeding this won't stop them, and if they're just having a really bad game this makes them feel worse.

You also call them "lil kids" and "lil bronzies", which you should know isn't okay.

Yea, it's mildly-moderatly toxic due to you giving up and constantly blaming others, while berating theirs scores.

Doing this over many games will get you punished. Just to let you know, in Riots eyes, such behavior in 10% of your games is considered a lot already.

Amended to remove unnecessary fluff. If you feel the need to pepper the chatlogs with "context" every few lines, then it's a pretty clear sign you're trying to defend bad behavior.

In this log, I see insults (lil bronzies, lil kid), accusations of intentional feeding and toxicity, personal attacks involving KDA, unnecessary arguing, and just an overall bad attitude. This Chat restriction was warranted. And, to answer your question, yes, this is toxic.

That is not what intentional feeding is. But what you said is blaming, which is toxic.

You don't seem to understand that blaming someone is a variation of flaming. Don't do it.

Funniest thing is, you don't seem to understand what "inting" is. Inting is when you literally go to enemy turret and let it kill you or just go to enemy champion and let him kill you. That is inting. Just making mistakes, like solo chasing, is not inting, it's making mistakes. Inting stands for "intentional", so for as long as your allie actually thought that what he/she is doing is a good call, they are not inting.

One thing you fail to understand. Just because you think what you wrote in chat isn't toxic, doesn't mean everyone agrees. You asked us, we answered. Our opinions are different from yours. Thing is, Riot agrees with us more then with you, so you got chat restriction. Don't want more restrictions, follow Riots rules and THEIR definition of what is toxic.
