Anyone else receive TWO 14 day suspensions in such a short time? I'm counting myself lucky I didn't get perma ban. I for sure deserved the first one but the second one was received after one game. Such is life, not trying to fight it or anything just curious if anyone else has been so lucky.
Chermorg2 votesIf you received a 14 day ban after only one game, it's likely that you fell afoul of Riot's zero tolerance policies against encouraging self-harm or using hate speech. SamBunzly2 votesThe current system requires (I believe, this is from what I've gathered over the years of scouring the boards) 3 months of good activity for your punishment ladder to reset. Good activity is defined by having no outstanding reports. (reports that have been verified as true) and no negative activity on your account (stolen credit cards, using bots, basically not breaking the Terms of Use) After this time is up, you're reset. To get two suspensions in 6 months, without having prior chat restrictions, means that in just a single game, you must have heavily broken the summoner's code, by being horribly toxic and likely telling others to "KYS," among other things.
Rogue Falcn1 votesAh so it's a 3 months reset. That makes sense. I thought I was in line for a perma but I guess I reset and received another 14 day. I wasn't horribly toxic but our Draven died 20 times and was inting so I did tell him to kys. Caught up in the moment, not arguing it.

It actually usually takes between 3 and 6 months, depending on your behavior and how often you play. It's not really tied to time so much as behavior over games played.
I do think you got very lucky though. The behavior you mentioned getting hot for is a zero-tolerance offense, and normally that can escalate even a 25 game chat restriction into a permanent ban if there's a history on the account.
