Banned for nothing ('intentional feeding')

Today I played a game as Teemo jungle. Yeah, I know that it's a weird pick, but i play in Bronze ELO and i had success with Teemo in general before.

I decided to go a tanky build and take a support function in the game. Problem was, that I got a pretty toxic team. And that's not everything: after 10 minutes i disconnected. After I reconnected, everything was still fine: I went into my jungle and farmed to close the gap in levels.

But I realized, that my ping went crazy, when there were more than one enemy champ in my screen + I had FPS-drops. I decided to do my best for my team, even in that situation.

For the rest of the game i depushed every pushing lane and planted my shrooms around important objectives (baron + drake for example) I could even stop solo splitpushes of the enemy team.

Because I coudn't join teamfight because of the lags and fps-drops, my team started to flame me and called me a troll. (even though the enemy team had a Bard, who fought several times alone against baron) I can understand their frustration but the reason for the frustration was the throw of our team. (one reason was me, another reason was the yasuo, who got cocky and soraka got lags)

After the game I got disconnected from chat and I got the message 'you have been banned for intentional feeding (14-days)' And here is the problem: The reason for the ban was the Teemo game. (i died twice and not intentional)

So I contacted the riot support but the only answer was exactly the same. > 'you got banned for 14-days due to intentional feeding', 'it's against the summoners code', 'ruins the fun for others'

I ask everyone, who got banned without a reason:

  1. Have they unbanned your account?
  2. Do you think the ban is justified?

This appears to be a false positive. I've unbanned the account for you because I didn't want you to have to wait for your ticket, and will follow up with my team to see what exactly caused the penalty.

You should get an email detailing the ban. If it doesn't say right in there intentional feeding I'm not sure I can believe this.

I have played with PLENTY of feeders and only the ones that type into chat "LOLOLOL I'M JUST GONNA FEED THEN FUCKERS!!!!!111" ever catch a ban.

Then obviously it wasn't because of that game. These things take awhile to add up. You can't just feed once and be banned for feeding, they wait to make sure you're deserving of the ban. I'd honestly report you for AFK too, due to how your bad internet connection contributed to the loss of the game. I wouldn't want you to be banned for it, but it would only ban you if a lot of people also reported you for AFK in your other games, in which case you'd deserve the ban.

It's completely possibly you were banned for doing this in a normals game, something we wouldn't be able to see. Or maybe on another account, or maybe it really is an error in which case I wish you the best of luck, or maybe you're lying. Honestly 99% of people that come here are lying so don't take it personal when I say that.

Wow even in the past week there's practically no games you've played that look like you're ever feeding, let alone intentionally. That's fucked up man I hope you get it figured out :/

That being said, I know nothing other than your final scores and maybe you did feed int. No one can just take your word for it ... idk man. Good luck.

Riot gets "Intentional Feeding Bans" wrong in a lot of cases and its hard to get them to over-turn a ban takes a lot of arguing with Riot so to speak, Last time I got intentional feeder ban was having my own team member troll me screwing over the entire game without in ability to /remake or change champion the entire game got tilted and like 0-20 for that matter, which was like a single game that could even remotely look like hard intentional feeding.

Last season or two ago I had the problem being matched with (IMO) idiot players every time and I do feed when matched with such players like hard its easy to tilt me hard, now Riot has put on Auto Fill, and started matching me with dummies again, afraid of getting banned for intentional Feeding like last season with forced roles and idiots, to the point where the only option is to like sit back all game and not play because like that is the only way not to feed so much with a troll player, or someone who knows nothing its the reason I prefer all burst / mage champions in solo / farm only. (Was hard to get them to at least lower this ban from a perm ban.) But the stats do show that when matched with scrubs in a forced position it creates a more negative experience, and players argue.

Riot should keep the role selection like it was where players have the option to wait the additional time, and they need to look at more about Intentional Feeding rather than feeding because of a role or position, and even the chat toxicity others love to start when someone is forced into a role looks at the team comp and is like What the F*** is this and does something off the meta only to hear verbal abuse and have to type /Mute All...

Perhaps players should always wait in the summoners base instead of going into fights when you "Know you are gonig to die" because no one on your team took any (Crowd Control) as this is "Intentional Feeding"?

Doesn't make any sense. I would send in another support ticket. I can't see any reason for you to banned unless it was a Leaverbuster thing where you've repeatedly AFKed on a 20 minute queue timer.

I've had much worse games as Teemo Jg.
