A note to veteran players from a newer player

As someone who has only played league for about a month or so I need to say some stuff after some of the things I've experienced

  1. If you create a smurf don't moan about everyone being bad. Believe it or not, that's how a smurf works.

  2. Don't moan at us if we do something wrong. Give us advice instead, Unlike you, we're still learning the game. Moaning at us will just make us not want to play anymore.

That is all I have to say as of now.

Those are probably the same people that complain about everyone being bad in their main account as well.

if someone is smurfing, and they bitch at a bunch of level 10s for doing bad (against more smurfs), I guarantee they won't care if you stop playing and will probably straight up tell you to uninstall. I have several smurf accounts to fall back on when I wanna experience the grind to 30 again and I see this toxicity so much. it's ridiculous really. I try to help everyone I can when I play on my low level accounts but honestly the smurfs usually outnumber the actual newbies, and there's a bunch of people teaming up on the one guy on the team that's genuinely learning how the game works.

I never understood why all veteran players create smurf accounts. I am the only one from my friends who doesnt own a smurf, and some of them even own 2 or more smurfs.

The problem is that most smurfs aren't platinum or diamonds having fun. It's bronze and silvers who feel bad about themselves so they make a smurf to feel good. Then people who don't know how to play the game beat them so they go back into blaming others instead of admitting they are bad.

Yo, gold player here, I'll show u the ropes if u want (add: cresmont) I don't get why ppl complain that ppl are bad THATS GOOD it means you don't belong there, so prove it and move up :D Hope I'll see you on the fields of justice :^$

Yeah I think it's really unfair to new players. It's one thing to level an account but another to use it to bully new players by being toxic to them. When I was new I nearly quit because of it. Trust me it gets better. The only people who do that to bitch at newer players are the people who can't play against their own elo.

^ at the 2nd sentence. Stay away from this game. It went down the drain since season 3. This incompetent company ruined the game

Those players are just bad themselves lol don't listen to them, even if they gave you advice it wouldn't help you much tbh. There's a reason they get matched with new players on their smurfs.

I'm no challenger god or anything but w hen I create a smurf my first match is literally impossible to lose, I can faceroll 1v7896 and win the game in a short amount of time playing just about anything.

And after that match every game consists of at least 8 smurfs on both teams combined, and most of those are still easy wins, then another 5 games and it's 10 smurfs each game.

So yea just don't bother listening to them because there's most likely nothing useful they can tell you. A tip I'd give you is either play with friends if you have any that play league or play co-op vs AI, for me those two were all I did until I was around level 25, though not everyone finds co-op vs AI challenging enough so if you don't want to play bots then don't.

But personally I think you can learn a lot more from bot games than from normal games at this point of your learning process since there's no pressure to perform well it gives you all the freedom to experiment with new champions and really get a good idea of the basics of this game.

Oh and you can mute people btw, there's nothing wrong with muting your teammates if you don't feel like listening to them. And generally if they say one negative thing it won't be followed up by something useful but rather more negativity.

Smurfs are the most retarded thing in this kind of game. Its not like an mmo where you can create a new character/class. It is literally the same thing you will do on your main account, except on their main accounts they actually get wrecked. Smurfing shouldn't be allowed. It adds nothing new to the player experience except for a negative impact on new players.

Honestly even if i try and give advice they think im being an asshole the one time i said something and it worked it was when i told the enemy adc that their build path was inefficient they listened and i said add me il support you one game and give tips he was bronze but had good mechanics but awful positioning and didnt understand trading of summoner spells or even auto trades we played like 3 games on skype and like a month later he was like thanks all the tip got me to silver 1 going to gold now it actually made me feel good about my self
