I was banned for being "Aggro in chat" help

Okay so, I was in a game, and one player started flaming me for no reason so I started to flame back and the whole team reported me, this was game 1. Game 2 I wasnt even being toxic I was just being typing a lot and I guess people are too sensitive... I got a 14 day suspension for 2 games is there any way it could be lifted with chat restrictions for 14 days??? So once again if i could get a 14 day chat restriction or longer I do deserve that...

Please post your chat log such that we can examine them. Without doing so, we are unable to provide advice as to the reason for the punishment and/or chance of getting it lifted.

Calling someone a f------ (You know what you said, I gave you the first letter to help you remember) is grounds for an instant ban.

As someone who identifies as a non-heterosexual, I don't personally have a problem with the word. However, many people I know (including myself) have had this word thrown at them by people in very negative manners. Many people associate that word with not only emotional but physical abuse from parents or loved ones. That word means so much more than you think it does to so many people, and throwing it around is not something to be done lightly.

You'll get another chance after your 14 day ban. Please never say that word again in League. Honestly, you shouldn't even say it in real life except in very limited circumstances.

So you are aware, the same goes for other derogatory language, AND for encouragements to self harm like "slit your throat" and "kys," both of which you used. Riot has a zero tolerance policy on all of this behavior.

Luckily for you this wasn't an instant permanent ban -- and with derogatory language in both games and self-harm comments in one of them it could have been. So you get one more chance to show this was a fluke. :)

If you find yourself tilting, MUTE EVERYONE. Finish the game without typing anything. Take a break. Your account is now on the final step before a permanent ban, but a long enough period of games with good behavior CAN start the progress of recovering your "good player" status. One or two mistakes, however, will likely get you banned for good. Keep that in mind before you type anything -- if it isn't positive or entirely neutral (as in "Dragon in 0:45" instead of "you're 0/15," even if the latter statement is true), just don't type it -- you can't afford to take risks right now.

my advice to you ...

is to forget there is a chat function...

just dont use it at all ... use pings to communicate

you cant get banned for what you dont say

I'm sure you've had other games that were equally bad, that one was prolly just the last straw.

Me personally I just don't flame n just respond with lol when I'm flamed, cause I think it's funny that someone gers that pissed over a game

No not really, i don't know what I was doing that last one... I've never really intentionally fed or been that toxic. I can understand why I was suspended though.

I don't know why they provided the logs from the 2nd game ... but you'd have been banned from the 1st only anyway. As someone who went through a 14 days ban recently, insult your teammates about being tables (or anything that doesn't make sense, that also doesn't go through Riot's toxic filter)

  • You son of a table
  • Eat a table It does the trick, ends up being rather funny than flaming, and takes away the frustration. Also, try to not talk at all for one entire game (other than baron calls, pings, etc) while not muting anyone.

Definitely. I had that same problem, just ignore the chat (the drama mainly). I also reduced the chat box size to about 40%. It's still readable, but you get to ignore it much more easily.
