I get how you want justice in the game systems, but you can't just ban someone as you wish! This is just freaking Awful, I remeber that day I got promoted to Gold V, I played from noon to late night, I won freaking 8-9 matches in a row!!! It was painful and stressful, and I even skipped lunch and dinner. Now you are telling me all my hard efforts are taken away? * !!! I am now being punished for something that I've not done??? This is hurtful and unforgivable... I don't feel good about this game anymore, to think I ever spent money to support "my favorite game" ? Ehhhhhhhhhh................ This disgusts me...

I know I sometimes had really bad luck, Hec I dropped to Silver on my Birthday, but I had really good luck on that day when I get back to gold V. Besides I tried really hard that day.

There is honestly no way a smart person will get detected or banned for MMR boosting I will explain why it can be inaccurate since Riot won't really give the public details, (Not Proven But the only way I can think of.)

If you are illegally selling MMR / ELO Boosting Services.

1.) If you are logging into other peoples accounts from your own computer, or IP address and boosting accounts then your "Hardware ID" "Hard Drive Serial Number" "Mac Address" and IP Address" are likely sent to the game server on login I can't really be sure about this but its possible.

. However you could use a different computer with different computer name just to be safe, Buy a second internet provider for example DSL for $15 a month, and log into other peoples accounts boosting them making 100% sure own account is safe, of course by doing this the problem is if Riot is actually logging your information you could just get a bunch of other peoples accounts banned.

2.) If you are buying MMR services from a third party site.

. For starters I wouldn't recommend this because giving your account information to a MMR booster will likely get your account banned or suspended, or just stolen / compromised

. Second Its almost impossible for Riot to detect that you have been MMR boosted if you use Team Viewer, or Remote Desktop Connection meaning a user over the internet plays from your own computer and hardware, therefore bypassing detection, the only problem with this is Riot could in theory be monitoring for this type of activity.

3.) Monitoring Stats, Riot can easily monitor anything on their servers like other players, friends who are on your friends list, and play styles, champions, and items bought, and compare to how you play, so if this changes like really fast Riot can think something is up and the only way to actually fool Riot a bit would be to not login to your account often quit playing for a long time take a break after a boosting and do only like one game a month then come back play trying to follow what the booster did, and do badly this way you would use the excuse I haven't played for awhile im doing bad.

4.) The main question I have about League OF Legends, and I am curious for a red post is how Riot actually detects MMR boosting when people use Public IP's aka College Dorms, or Internet Cafe's allowing another person to play another users account could be quite common so therefore it would need to grab the actual hardware information of the computer the client is running on, or be done based off statistics, and if its done based off game-play stats alone this is where false positives can come into play.

5.) I agree that all of the above is "Cheating" I would never support to letting anyone else knowingly use my own account, or cheat in this way and I believe Riot has the right to punish boosters, however I also believe that Riot should actually let the public know more info than what they actually do on the site I checked out, although under their terms of service they are not required to, they just should if they want to really keep the public's trust.

Kinda shocked there is no red posts in regards to this with +182 votes, and its been 2 months since that was posted

The most obvious thing here is you can tell when this player is MMR boosting. He gets boosted up to gold playing at a Master Tier level, then as soon as he gets Gold V almost does a free fall back down to Silver and plays at a Silver 5 level(if you go look at his account builds/etc) couple this with IP changes and everything else and it really doesn't take a genius to realize that this player was MMR boosting.

to League LOL, I will probably not waste my time on this game anymore, after 4 years of commitment I can be punished for something I didn't do anytime if riot says so. How do I know if you are not going to accuse me for "GODKNOWSWHAT" next week? And apperantely, I couldn't do anything about it. Thanks so much, it's been fun, till now.

Honestly it looks like you are boosting. For most of the season you are playing between a bonze and gold level of play. Suddenly at the end of the season, especially during that 9 game win streak, you started playing at a plat and diamond level. You had some good games at the beginning of the year but at the end of the season suddenly you became better at everything.
