Complants about Riot punishment system

Nice work Riot. My friend and i carried a game and our mid laner was toxic then he reported my friend, which cause 14-days suspension. I don't really know how the punishment system works, if it really works as punishing the player who doesn't deserve punishment, I feel really disappointed at Riot. By the way, our opponents reported my friends too, just because we were carrying the bot lane so hard and they got wrecked. If Riot is the game maker that I know, I think you guys wouldn't let things like that happen. I feel mad because my friend and I were doing nothing wrong. Just like if our mid laner doesn't play badly, we won't censure him for that. OK, now the result is unacceptable, I wish the stuff of Riot could give me an explanation. WHY TOXIC PEOPLE CAN REPORT OTHERS AND THEN THE SYSTEM AUTOMATICALLY BANS THE ONE WHO DOESN'T DESERVE????

If he was banned for toxicity, chat logs would have been sent. Care to post them?

Yeah I would like to say the chat logs. I'd like to see if he was being toxic or our mid laner was

I'm pretty sure the logs would have been sent, but I think it only shows what *he was saying, not any other player. I'm not entirely sure, though. I've never been punished for anything like that.

At the very top of this page, there is a tab for Support. You can open a ticket.. but seeing as it was your friend that got banned, I doubt very seriously that anyone would be able to help you specifically. You would need to tell your friend to open a ticket.

well did he receive any form of notification regarding why he was banned? If Riot did state a reason then you might wanna mention that or we can't really give you feedbacks.

He just got banned directly, right after the game. There was no notification to show that his recent behavior was reported before.

There's the possibility that he was falsely reported for that recent game where he did absolutely nothing wrong, but the report flagged Riot to check his history, and throughout the search Riot found something inappropriate that he did not in that match but long time ago and deemed it ban worthy. This is why we need to know the reason of the ban to figure out what the cause was.
