Complants about Riot punishment system

Nice work Riot. My friend and i carried a game and our mid laner was toxic then he reported my friend, which cause 14-days suspension. I don't really know how the punishment system works, if it really works as punishing the player who doesn't deserve punishment, I feel really disappointed at Riot. By the way, our opponents reported my friends too, just because we were carrying the bot lane so hard and they got wrecked. If Riot is the game maker that I know, I think you guys wouldn't let things like that happen. I feel mad because my friend and I were doing nothing wrong. Just like if our mid laner doesn't play badly, we won't censure him for that. OK, now the result is unacceptable, I wish the stuff of Riot could give me an explanation. WHY TOXIC PEOPLE CAN REPORT OTHERS AND THEN THE SYSTEM AUTOMATICALLY BANS THE ONE WHO DOESN'T DESERVE????
