losing LP, Because teammate felt like feeding

Scandinavian Boy I was just playing a game of league of legends, when in champion select there was a guy who didn't get his role. because he didn't get the role he wanted, he ran down midlane and gave the the enemies a lot of kills, his score was 0/47/5 with 9 cs. we could've won if he didn't feed this much, so now my question is why do people who went in the game with this person lose lp? I find it unfair to lose lp, because a player called (gay69) inted when he doesn't get his way.

Scandinavian Boy not your fault though. it's kinda sad it has to go like that the game was just funishedI feel this player doesn't have the rights to do this to any other players

Lola Starr the thing is, we cannot control how a player will act in the game - you are right, losing lp in this case seems indeed unfair he does not, we punish such behavior very harshly and I will look into his behavior and take the appropriate actions

Scandinavian Boy so riot games doesn't return the players lost lp even if the game would be a win if this guy would behave normally? I could even dodge before the game starts or anything but I would still be the person losing lp

Lola Starr I understand, I'm afraid this is due to our system it doesn't allow us to edit any ranked stats/lp

Lola Starr it was built like this so it cannot be exploited

Scandinavian Boy so I now lose lp because another player didn't feel like playing the game like a normal person?

Lola Starr I understand how this can be frustrating i'm a player too and this has happened to me countless times my advice would be to go on the boards and express your concerns about this our devs check them often and if you have any ideas on how we can handle this better or any feedback they will take it into consideration

Scandinavian Boy I don't get why this isn't handled much earlier. I think this is happening a lot and still there is no way to fix this :/ atleast in my eyes it looks like no one in your company has thought about a fix, I could be wrong . but this is how we experience this kind of things that's why there is a big disconnect with riot employees and the players/community who pretty much build the game where it is now

Lola Starr Indeed, this is something that affects many players everyday they're doing the best they can to improve the experience, I don't know whether they have something in mind for this situation but posting on the boards may help since many players are affected, they will probably give their own opinions in the comments and it will gain more visibility

Scandinavian Boy so I should post this ticket on the boards? but still can't you tell this problem more clearly within your company?

Lola Starr well, I mean to give your feedback- you can post the ticket if you want though, there's no problem with that the thing is, we don't have direct contact with the developers otherwise I would have done it myself

Scandinavian Boy why don't you have direct contact with the developers? isn't that kinda weird? because you guys/girls hear about all these problems and you pretty much have to tell that we as players have to put it on the boards instead of contacting the developers... connection with the developers feels like a pretty important thing within these kind of problems

Lola Starr we are here to support and help with any issues you might have :) the devs are watching the boards, we're trying not to filter the feedback from you to the devs that's why it's best for them to get it directly from the source

Scandinavian Boy but still it's not directly from the source because I have to post this on a forum/board and then "Hope" they will see it and pray for them to change anything to fix this problem, it feels very distant from interaction

Lola Starr you could do it, but this would mean you will put other players through what you went through as well

Lola Starr trust me, we are aware of this- we punish this behavior strictly, as previously mentioned it would suck to put other players through this-since you know how bad it feels regarding the lost lp I would love to help, but I have no power in this sense

if they gave it to you then when somebody is losing a ranked game they can just start inting and everybody else doesnt lose lp what i think you should do is record the game and show it to riot and ask if they can do something about it

It sucks, but theres literally no way they could give you the LP back without openning up the possibility for abuse cases to arise.

RIOT is destroying its fan base by being to lazy to even look at feeding...….You can legit do ALL the work for them..say in a report between "#### -####" time player said "im done im feeding" , and then look at the review time and its obvious with chat log and they still wont ban the player......I cant believe RIOT is unintentionally destroying its loyal fans.

I am pretty sure enough people are aware that you do not have to "run it down" for awareness lol. I believe Riot is always thinking about this. They are trying to figure out a system where it can not be exploited by someone in any circumstance. If someone gets first blooded and then starts running it down so the rest of the team doesn't lose LP than it wouldn't work very well. I know if can be very frustrating to lose LP but knowing that they get punished and can not do it from that account anymore is the best that Riot can do atm. If you are posting to the boards you should add reasonable suggestions. make sure to think how it would be possible to exploit them

and his only idea was to make a smurf and troll/feed others?

here's an idea, step 1 .get over yourself, you're not that important step 2. it was 1 GAME, odds are the enemy team has the troll next game, GET OVER IT
