Why can I get suspended for "gjp nice, gg"

I got suspended 14 days, and I got a chat log shown as a reason which was a positive one at the end of the game saying gg, keep yourself safe, gjp nice... just the regular things... All in a positive game & context. Still I got suspended for nothing, I wrote a player support ticket and got as an answer that I was right, but he couldn't just undo the concequences of my suspension (which were: Denial of Ranked season rewards like border, graves skins plus chromas, Summoner icons, but also the denial of my honor rewards (lvl5) the ward skin.) I dont't know if he really couldn't do something about it or if he was just to lazy to do something about it.

So... is there a way to improve the system? I regularly see people who want to report me after a bad gank for instance, but those worthless reports seem to add up and just in the result in suspension or something... Am I right? Can someone clarify?

Also Let me know what you think of the system, does it work? or do you also have a shitty experience with it? Let me know!! [sg-zephyr]

We REALLY cant judge anything untill we see your chatlogs.

If you can provide your chat logs I can help you see if there is something you are overlooking, or if you should submit a ticket to Player Support.

Sure! Happy to clarify. All reports do is trigger the system to look at that specific game. If they find problematic behavior, it's a strike against you (or a punishment, as appropriate). Otherwise those reports do nothing. So no, there isn't a build up of worthless reports at all.

Also Let me know what you think of the system, does it work? or do you also have a shitty experience with it?

In general I've seen it working pretty well. As with any system on this scale it isn't perfect, but it's pretty damn solid for what it is.

The report system works just fine. So I highly doubt it had anything to do what you said here. But reading below, you showed why you were banned. And that was you saying "kys". At no point in time do you use those abbreviations. Doesn't matter the situation, reason, or purpose. Simply don't use it.

I'm going to request you post a screen shot of the logs themselves...I highly doubt you were banned for only saying basically GG.

As to your question about "is there a way to improve the system?" as much as I hate the robot I'm going to say yha we can. My question that won't get answered until we see the chat logs is "does removing your ban for the robot flagging you improve the system?"

I never understood why people keep using the excuse of using Voice Comms. I would assume in this day and age you have some form of Headset/Earphone+mic. So why the need to state this in the game chat? Let me guess yours broke? With that said you didnt get ban for saying GG, it was the KYS. Whether its a joke or not is all on that person solely. And sadly since you werent playing with a full team of friends that one person who didnt think you were joking probably reported you. Also please stop making up the definition. Its not working. No one uses KYS and in Keep yourSelf Safe, No one has ever used that term in this game before so an Acronym for it makes no sense, let alone one that is associated with Self Harm.

It's fine. Parents don't raise their brats properly these days anyway. Since the parents don't do their jobs properly in the 21st century anymore, looks like the ban hammer is just going to do their jobs for them. Or maybe these kids will run off to Star Wars Battlefront 2 and their loot chests!!! It's just amazing just how ALIKE all these toxic trolls are. Different names, same spam, same death threats, same homophobic slurs, same insults that everyone else says. Sheep syndrome. AND--mentally ill.

This was a game with a 4 man pre in my team on skype.

These are the chat logs, as you know the chat logs are the cause of your suspension. So: Gjp nice... Due to riot this is a cause for my suspension really? they picked this message out of the game...

"kys"... often used as a sarcastic term to tell your friends to shut up and also used as a message to let your teammates know they can't afford to die in the late game "keep yourself safe" this one is used as the second option.

gg... Why is this in the cause of my suspension, why does riot show this to me as a CAUSE?

"kys"... again but this time is used to tell my mates (in skype aswell) to fack off (the way Gordon Ramsey says it)

probably got reported by the one teammate who was randomly in our lobby while we or me did not text directly to him the whole game. So probs to him for keeping the community clean, but there was no flame in the chat otherwise riot would've added it to the chat log I suppose.

kys has always been a point of discussion, many times used in a negative context but has been used in the past as a "keep yourself safe" in the league community (Season 2/3.)

Regardless from the point of view you have on the "kys" case, I want to know which already asked why I get suspended for the gg/ gjp nice??? It is said by Riot this is a cause of my suspension cause it was shown in the chat log and picked from the game from a specific time in the game as you can see.

I already see people who are even in this board like to assume things of me without any knowledge of me or my chat logs, here they are. And now I want you to anser 1 question! one! as said before! Why is "gjp ncie" & "gg" given as a cause of my suspension tell me please. I won't reply to people who are only giving their opinion (which I will respect) and won't respect mine.

No, they do not add up for false reports. Playing poorly (as long as it isn't intentional) is not punishable. The most likely situation is you had mildly toxic chat that was part of valid reports. Those do add up.
