Sick of the dodge punishment

Today, every single queue I was in was LOADED with TROLLS. You can't play with these people if you don't want to tilt, they're probably going to int and then AFK if they don't get their way. "Give me all the kills and farm or I AFK", absolutely TRASH attitude, ruining the game for everyone else because you can't be the shining star for ONE damn game. Suddenly, the person who peacefully leaves gets the punishment---oh, the QUEUE DODGE TIMER. So annoying, suddenly because of their terrible behavior and sportsmanship, either you have to suck it up and sit through the game or you dodge and get blocked for 5+ minutes. Every time, even though I call my position first, they argue and argue and whine and I have to give it up. Absolutely ridiculous; have no idea why there isn't a report button while IN QUEUE for these jerks. I've only got an hour or two of free time during the day before I've got to return to my responsibilities and I can't even enjoy League.

If only Riot gave you a game mode that wasn't ranked but also wasn't blind pick so role arguments wouldn't happen. Life would be so good!

i dont mind the first 5 minute dodge punishment but it jumps from 5 all the fucking way to 30 mins and i think thats ridiculous. maybe increase the wait time by couple mins each time but not by 25.

i do, however, think the dodge punishment system is a good way to stop people who dodge just to piss people off and it forces some people to learn to play new positions rather than being glued to only 1, which is not a healthy way to play ranked.

Don't fall for their empty threats. Or maybe occasionally actually trade them so their little baby selves won't troll. I know that's not your responsibility, but it might be better than dodging. Chances are though, they're just trying to get you to dodge. Also, I don't know what you mean by "even though I call my position first"?

You're playing blind pick? You know that there are no rules for selecting champs or roles there right? It literally means nothing whether you called first or not. They don't have to adhere to your rules, they have to adhere to riots rules, and Riot never made a rule that involves calling roles in chat. That's just like a courtesy, and it's not against the rules to not be courteous.

If you want a specific role or lane, stop playing the one game mode that doesn't lock you into a specific role or lane. I play blind pick for the quickness, but I never go into it expecting to get the role I want, because it isn't designed that way. So switch to the appropriate mode and it will solve your "troll" problem.
