Honestly, some of these players act like they've never seen or been around a black person before. Its always awkward jokes being made that doesn't seem offensive to them but it is to us. Being called the "N" word in the middle of the game even as a joke isn't really funny to be honest. Its like as human beings these people don't know anything about morale, respect, or self-discipline and come off strongly ignorant.

Since the majority of the community is caucasian I doubt this will reach out to anyone but honestly the savagery has to stop. Its not cool.

This is a problem that needs to be addressed and I know that riot has been enforcing bigoted chatter within the community more aggressively. I believe that it is not just riots responsibility but the responsibilities as all of us being part of the LoL community to create a more respectful and fun environment for everyone. I am black but I also see a lot of negativity towards the gay community. While I myself am a straight male I feel like the gay community still should not be discriminated towards during a game.

Dude dont do this.I am mixed and I live in the f*cking Eastern Europe(I know all about racism).But this is just a game, why u care what some nobody says to u behind their pc.Just chill and play the game

I actually take pride in my heritage and culture and feel that its a privilege to be.. well... black lol My group team name is BLK$ and we consist of all different races. Umm alot of what yall are saying or should I say "Implying" isn't what I was implying. If I may ask kindly!!! That you no longer put words in my mouth or make it sound like you're speaking FOR ME :)

If your comment is relatable too "So what he's trying to say or So what you're trying to say is." then its probably best that you don't comment without fully understanding! The people that do that aren't always white, some are black people too. Some people think that because they are (insert gender/skin color/sexuality here) that it is ok for them to say bad stuff like that. Like I saw a guy say "well I'm gay so I can say F**ggot all I want...like no...you can't...its still offensive to people.

Overall, they are assholes and there will always be assholes. Some people take the joking and trash talk too far. I think hate speech is enough to get a ban right off the bat tbh.

Please don't assume that because most of us that play are white we won't say or do anything. I'm a white player, if I see anyone harassing players over anything I'll stand up and tell them that it is inappropriate.

I agree with your sentiments entirely. The term is too meaningful and sensitive for people to be used as a joke. It's just going to cause too much harm. It's just too derogatory in history.

Also, I feel like we should stop referring to white people as Caucasian. At least my assumption is that you are equating Caucasian with white. I don't think that I've met any white person actually from the Caucasus Mountain region (border of Georgia and Russia) which is where the term derives its name.

It's also the only race type from Meyers Konversations-Lexikon trio of 'great races'. Those being Caucasoid, and then two others which are not PC and if referred to by them will cause great offense so I will not even put them here. You can find more information by reading up on the Meyers Konversations-Lexikon though. I think that it's just time to put that nomenclature to rest from a poor chapter in early European attempts to classify people.

There is an entire category to report people for these "special" kinds of insults. It's not the first time you've heard the word and it likely won't be the last. It's rude, disrespectful, insulting, yes, but its also not that big of a deal. The player(s) in question will likely receive a swift punishment and will eventually either stop or be permanently banned.

What Little Mac said above is pretty much it. Its an infant's mentality. If they get a reaction, they'll keep doing it. If something is making you uncomfortable, do what you need to do. Ignore, mute, or hell - leave the game. You shouldn't have to sacrifice yourself just to play a silly online game.

I think everyone is missing the point. Its not about the "N" word lol.. I guess that took most of yall attention but i'm sorry Im not so self-centered to play the victim? I don't care that i'm black, I don't care if you care if i'm black. Or if you have an issue with if i'm black, my target was centered at "Human Beings Behavior towards people of other races" it was targeted at "Morale, Self-Discipline"!!! There are things you don't talk about in a form of joke or humorous manner and even riot has pointed these things out.

Religion and Ethnicity both being one of the few. Just because you don't care about your inheritage, cultural background, lifestyle, ethnicity, ect. Doesn't mean others DONT. And I would think it would be only common sense to respect someone for being different than you but its like the people ive met on the NA and apparently in other servers don't know the concept of respect. Like they don't have any lines they just cross them with no hesitation. Which was why I also pointed out the issue of being "IGNORANT".

This isn't about being black.. So please stop trying to make it seem like i'm playing the victim because I don't do cowardly things of that nature, neither do I hide in the shadows to protect my own hide. "READ" what I said. Stop reflecting your own perspective and try to understand someone other than yourself.. MAYBE JUST MAYBE!! You'll learn a thing or two about who you really are.
